We previously reported that the legendary former professional wrestler Hulk Hogan died on Thursday morning at the age of 71. Now, police have revealed disturbing new details about Hogan’s harrowing final moments.

Official Timeline Of Hogan’s Final Moments

The Clearwater (Fla.) police department and Major Nate Burnside have released their official timeline revealing what went down the day that Hogan died.

The 911 call that came in from Hogan’s home about a cardiac arrest was received at 9:51am on Thursday, July 24, and there was immediate medical dispatch. Medics then arrived at the 1000 block of Eldorado Avenue of Clearwater Beach at 9:56am.

At 10:19am, the police request and dispatch occurred. Four minutes later, they arrived to tend to Hogan.

“It was discovered at that time, Terry Bollea, also known as Hulk Hogan, was experiencing a serious medical issue,” Burnside explained during a press conference held hours after Hogan’s death.

Medics did what they could for Hogan before transporting him to Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater at 10:32am. There, Hogan was pronounced dead at 11:17am.

Video has since gone viral that allegedly shows first responders removing Hogan from his Clearwater mansion. They can then be seen doing chest compressions on him.

Police Investigating

A “standard” death investigation into Hogan’s death has since been launched. However, no foul play is suspected at this time.

“The Clearwater police department is conducting a death investigation, which is standard in these types of cases,” Burnside said on Thursday.

“There are no signs of foul play or suspicious activity related to this call for our service at this time,” he continued. “Our personnel is providing the family with the necessary resources. I’m strongly encouraging everyone to keep the family in their thoughts, and respect their privacy during this difficult time.”

Hogan’s Final Weeks

This comes after a source close to Hogan’s family told Daily Mail that in his final weeks, the iconic wrestler was well aware that he was suffering from a very “weak heart.” Indeed, it appears that Hogan knew that the end was near for him.

“He was suffering from shortness of breath, got tired easily, had lost a lot of weight and was on oxygen,” the source alleged.

Hogan reportedly spent his final weeks confined to his mansion. There, he desperately tried to mend rifts with some of his estranged loved ones. According to the insider, Hogan did this because he knew that it would be his final chance to make amends.

“He had a lot of scores to settle,” the source explained. “Didn’t want to leave anything unsaid.”

Hulk’s 40 year wrestling career left him with a wide variety of painful injuries. He also battled health issues stemming from decades of steroid use.

“I’ve had like 25 surgeries in the last ten years. 10 of them were back surgeries,” Hogan said while appearing on the IMPAULSIVE podcast in September of 2024. “I’ve had 10 back surgeries, both knees and both hips replaced, shoulders—everything.”

Hogan’s ‘Deathbed’ Rumors

Last month, rumors swirled that Hogan was on his “deathbed.” Though these rumors were quickly shot down, an insider close to Hogan said that the wrestler had “the body of a 140-year-old man.”

“Hulk has a body ravaged by wrestling, his body is the body of a 140-year-old man with all the bumps and bruises through the years, and his recent neck and back surgeries have been harder to come back from,” this source told Daily Mail in June. “But the rumors of heart issues is not a thing, and talk of him dying is farfetched. He is just having some struggle and trouble to get back to being 100 percent faster.”

“He is getting older, he still is in good shape, works out. But he’s a beaten man, just trying to get as right as possible,” the source continued. “Obviously, he will never wrestle again, but it isn’t because he is dying, it is because his bones are deteriorated.”

Hogan was worth an estimated $25 million at the time of his death. He is survived by his third wife Sky, who he married in 2023. Hogan is also survived by his children Brooke, 37, and Nick, 34, who he shared with his ex-wife Linda Claridge, 65.

While it’s devastating that Hogan is gone, we can all find comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain. Rest in peace, Hulk Hogan.
