In the entertainment world, it can be hard to find a celebrity who is brave enough to defy the radical left by expressing their love for America. That’s why it was so refreshing when the rapper Pitbull stopped one of his concerts to do just that!

Pitbull Praises America

Back in 2021, Pitbull stopped a concert to send a brutal message to those who do not appreciate all of the freedoms that America has to offer. Though the clip is from five years ago, it went viral on social media once again over the weekend, as it is more relevant now than ever.

“To whoever the [expletive] doesn’t like the United States of America, may God bless you, but [expletive] you at the same time,” said Pitbull, who is first generation Cuban-American.

“If you don’t like the United States of America, go back to the countries that we the [expletive] from, and you’ll see how much you appreciate the United States of America,” he continued.

Check out the powerful moment for yourself here. We must warn you that there is explicit language, but it’s still worth the watch.

Pitbull’s History With America

Pitbull’s mother came to the United States from Cuba through Operation Peter Pan, which ran from 1960-1962. Meanwhile, his father made it to America thanks to a visa lottery.

Pitbull was born Armando Christian Pérez in Miami, Florida in 1981. He has long credited his family fleeing communist Cuba and coming to America for both his work ethic and his success in life.

“They knew what this country had to offer is that you could control your own destiny,” he said of his family in 2015. “You had opportunity. And you had the number one thing which was and which is freedom.”

Pitbull went on to reveal that his grandmother once fought for Fidel Castro in the Cuban revolutionary war. However, she later changed her views, which is why she sent her daughters to the U.S.

“So there’s a lot of history there,” Pitbull explained. “Definitely very deeply rooted and that’s why I appreciate every opportunity this country has to offer.”

Pitbull then said that his family’s story taught him how to hustle. That’s why these days, he’s always selling his brand.

“It’s always about building something,” he explained. “If you think about it my name’s Armando and armando in Spanish is to build.”

Pitbull Doubles Down

While appearing on the ABC talk show The View in 2017, Pitbull stated that “this country was built by immigrants.”

“We all bleed the same blood, we all breathe the same air, we all put our pants on one leg at a time,” he concluded. “And when we start figuring that out, is when we can really understand that we’re really not that different. We’re really more similar than we believe.”

Sadly, it’s become trendy among modern celebrities to bash America in a variety of ways. Indeed, patriotism has tragically fallen out of style in both the music world and Hollywood. That’s what makes Pitbull’s message all the more special and important.

We applaud Pitbull for defying the hateful left by praising our great country. God bless America, and God bless Pitbull!
