Paul Rudd has denied using Botox to maintain his youthful looks.
Although the 57-year-old actor is flattered by people thinking he does not age, he assured that he is getting older.
Ageless Appearance

The Ant-Man star appeared on the latest episode of 26-year-old Jake Shane’s Therapuss podcast, and the host asked him, “Are you vegan?”
Paul replied no, which prompted Jake to wonder, “So then why don’t you age?”
The This Is 40 alum insisted, “I do. You’re kind for saying that, but I really do.”
Jake then asked Paul if he had had Botox to temporarily smooth out the wrinkles on his face.
And as the Anaconda entertainer lifted his eyebrows, Paul replied, “No. Look at my face.”
Good Night’s Sleep
In February 2023, he credited getting a good night’s sleep for his ageless looks.
Paul told Men’s Health, “Sleep. Then diet. Then weights. Then cardio. People ask me, ‘Can you send me your meal plan? How many times a week do you work out? Do you drink? Do you eat carbs? Do you have a cheat day?’”
“The most important part of training is sleep. People will set their alarm and then sleep for four hours, and they’ll get up so that they can train. They’re doing themselves a disservice. If you can somehow get eight hours of sleep … “
The Avengers: Infinity War cast member once again said people are being “polite” when they say he does not look his age.
Paul said, “I see some things that people are politely not acknowledging. I’m certainly happy that people don’t say the opposite. Like, God, he looks a hundred years old! It’s flattering, but at the same time, I never know what the response is supposed to be.”
Being Kind

But Rudd does not think he is “particularly nice.”
In April 2025, Paul explained to WSJ. Magazine, “You’re asking me about this whole ‘nice’ thing. I don’t think I’m particularly nice.”
“Just try and be polite. Try and respect other people’s time. Show up on time. Don’t be a d*******, and then that’s it.”
However, he thinks kindness is vital in Hollywood.
Paul added, “It’s good for your soul.”
He swears by one rule, “Treat people the way you want to be treated.”
Lying About a Role
At the start of Paul’s career in acting, he lied about playing Hamlet “in a production directed by Sir Ben Kingsley.”
During an appearance on a December 2025 episode of The Graham Norton Show, he revealed, “When I first got a manager, I had no credits to put on my CV, but I’d once done an afternoon masterclass with Sir Ben Kingsley when I was in school.”
“My manager put this down as, ‘Paul played Hamlet in a production directed by Sir Ben Kingsley.'”
“I lived in fear that he would one day see my CV!”
Paul’s big break came in 1995, starring in Clueless and Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers.
