Over the past few months, rumors have been swirling that Barack and Michelle Obama may be headed for a divorce and are allegedly living “separate lives.” In fact, the rumors have become so rampant that they’ve led to claims that the 44th President was dating the former Friends star Jennifer Aniston.
Now, Michelle appears to be adding fuel to these rumors in a big way.
Michelle Launches Podcast
On Monday, it was announced that Michelle is starting a new podcast with her older brother, which will be called IMO With Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson (with IMO standing for “in my opinion”). In the trailer for this podcast, Michelle lays out the topics that she and Craig plan to discuss.
In an ominous twist, the first topic is the “gray areas of marriage.”
Michelle made a point in the trailer of saying that she and her brother will be answering audience questions about “the challenges you’re grappling with in life… whether you’re navigating the gray areas of marriage and raising kids, or dealing with a little friend drama—or even figuring out how to put yourself out there in the dating world.”
While Michelle has yet to comment about the divorce rumors currently running rampant about she and her husband, she’s undoubtedly aware of them. Because of this, one would think that she’d want to avoid discussing the “gray areas of marriage.” Indeed, she would likely at least choose not to have that be the first thing she pledges to discuss in the trailer for her podcast, should the rumors not be true.

Obama Divorce Rumors
The Obama divorce rumors have been spreading for months. However, they escalated in a big way back in January, when Michelle attended neither Donald Trump’s inauguration nor Jimmy Carter’s funeral. Instead, Barack had to attend these official events solo. Michelle was the only living former First Lady not in attendance at each of these events.
“I have been hearing this rumor that the Obamas are getting a divorce by reputable people. I’m not talking about TMZ, I’m not talking about Perez Hilton, although I love him, he’s my friend,“ Meghan McCain said on political reporter Tara Palmeri’s podcast last month. ”I’m talking about like very serious journalists telling me that they’re hearing that the Obama divorce rumors are true.”
“We’ve heard that for a long time,” replied Tara, who has long covered Washington politics. “Like I just heard that they live separate lives.”

Rumors Barack Dating Jennifer Aniston
Meanwhile, rumors have been spreading that Barack is dating the former Friends star Jennifer Aniston. In fact the rumors got so bad that Jennifer was forced to deny them in October of last year. She was asked directly about the dating claims in an interview with the late night host Jimmy Kimmel.
“I was not mad at it, but that is absolutely untrue,” Jennifer said of the rumors at the time.

Only time will tell if there is any truth to the Obama divorce rumors. It will certainly be interesting to see if Michelle addresses them on her podcast at all!
