Last week, we reported that rumors are swirling about former President Barack Obama dating the ex-Friends actress Jennifer Aniston. The steamy rumor comes at a time when a separate, though related, rumor swirls that Barack and his wife Michelle Obama are headed for divorce.
You can see where this is going! But hang on.
Now, Michelle has broken her silence for the first time since these rumors resurfaced to post a message from “Barack and I.”
Michelle Sounds Off
Michelle, 61, took to social media on Wednesday to reveal that The Obama Presidential Center will be honoring Hadiya Pendleton, an honors student who was murdered back in 2013. Pendleton’s death came days after she performed with her majorette squad at President Obama’s second inauguration.
Michelle announced that there will be a memorial garden in Pendleton’s honor. It will be located inside the Obama Presidential Center.
“Hadiya] had an extraordinary light that will not be forgotten, and Barack and I look forward to honoring her memory,” Michelle wrote.
Michelle went on to notably refer to Barack as “my husband.” This language was noteworthy, given the rampant rumors that Michelle and Barack are heading for divorce.
Obama Divorce Rumors
These divorce rumors have been spreading like wildfire ever since Michelle skipped both Jimmy Carter’s funeral and Donald Trump’s inauguration this month.
“I have been hearing this rumor that the Obamas are getting a divorce by reputable people. I’m not talking about TMZ, I’m not talking about Perez Hilton, although I love him, he’s my friend,“ Meghan McCain said on political reporter Tara Palmeri’s podcast last week. ”I’m talking about like very serious journalists telling me that they’re hearing that the Obama divorce rumors are true.”
“We’ve heard that for a long time,” said Tara, who has long covered Washington politics. “Like I just heard that they live separate lives.”
“I am not at home with them, but it’s not really surprising at this phase of their life,” she continued. “And she clearly has very little interest — she’s always hated politics! She did not really like being First Lady.”
Listen to Meghan and Tara talk more about this in the clip below.

Is Barack Dating Jennifer?
This has led to rumors that Barack is dating the former Friends star Jennifer Aniston resurfacing. The shocking claims first hit the internet last year. Jennifer attempted to debunk the rumor while being interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel back in October.
When asked about the report alleging that she’s having an affair with Barack, Jennifer quickly replied, “I was not mad at it, but that is absolutely untrue.”
“I’ve met him [Obama] once. I know Michelle more than him,” Jennifer claimed, alleging that she only met Barack at a 2007 Hollywood gala before he took office.

Rumors Continue To Spread
Despite Jennifer’s denial, the rumors of her affair with Barack have continued to spread. Indeed, it’s been claimed that the rumors have done additional damage to the Obama marriage.
“Their once solid marriage has come under strain and for the first time, they’re struggling to keep a lid on their problems,” RadarOnline reported earlier this month. “The Aniston ‘affair’ attention was unwanted and Michelle felt let down by it all. But the reality is they are more like friends at the moment.”
Barack and Michelle have been married since 1992, and they are each other’s first and only spouses. Meanwhile, Jennifer has been married and divorced twice, both times to high-profile Hollywood stars. She was first married to the Oscar-winning actor Brad Pitt from 2000 until they divorced in 2005. Jennifer was then married to Justin Therox of Mulholland Drive fame from 2015 until 2018.
The language of Michelle’s latest statement certainly indicates that she wants the public to believe that she is still happy with Barack. Only time will tell if they actually stay together!
