Over the past few months, rumors have been swirling that Barack and Michelle Obama are heading for divorce. These claims allege that Barack and Michelle have been living “separate lives” for quite some time.
Now, Michelle is adding fuel to these rumors by revealing what she can’t stand about living in Washington D.C.
Michelle Whines About Life In Washington D.C.
On Wednesday, Michelle, 61, appeared on the Las Culturistas podcast with her older brother Craig Robinson, 64. There, the siblings discussed their “I don’t think so, honey.” This is a segment on this podcast in which guests reveal a trend or popular item they don’t support.
Michelle took this opportunity to complain about life in Washington D.C., where she only moved because Barack, 63, became president. Though they left the White House in 2017, the Obamas still have Washington D.C. as their main residence. In her interview, Michelle revealed that she despises the city’s monuments tour, known as the Segways.
“They go so slow,” Michelle lamented. “It’s just annoying that they go so slow. You just want to get off and walk.”
“You know, we are dealing with an obesity crisis in the world,” she continued. “We meet people walking, and if you’re on a motorized thing that doesn’t move any faster than you walk, then I say, ‘Please please take the helmet off’ because you don’t need it on a Segway and just walk a little bit.”
Not stopping there, Michelle went on to complain about often finding Segway riders in the bike lane on the road. Because of their speed, she does not think that this is necessary.
“Please, Americans, get off the Segways, put on your walking shoes, and let’s move,” Michelle concluded.
Michelle was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Since she only moved to Washington D.C. because of Barack, many feel that this is yet more evidence that the Obamas are headed for divorce.

Obama Divorce Rumors
This comes after months of rampant rumors that the Obamas are heading for divorce. These rumors escalated in a big way back in January, when Michelle skipped both the funeral of Jimmy Carter and the inauguration of Donald Trump. She was the only living former First Lady to miss each of these events. This forced Barack to attend both events alone.
“I have been hearing this rumor that the Obamas are getting a divorce by reputable people,” political commentator Meghan McCain said on reporter Tara Palmeri’s podcast back in January. “I’m not talking about TMZ, I’m not talking about Perez Hilton, although I love him, he’s my friend.”
“I’m talking about like very serious journalists telling me that they’re hearing that the Obama divorce rumors are true,” she continued.
“We’ve heard that for a long time,” replied Tara, who has long covered Washington politics. “Like I just heard that they live separate lives.”

Michelle Accused Of ‘Really Disliking’ Barack
Michelle launched her IMO podcast with her brother Craig back in March. Since then, many have noticed that she’s frequently used episodes to complain about both Barack and the time they spent in the White House together.
The former Fox News host Tucker Carlson recently reacted to this by claiming that Michelle “really dislikes her husband, and it’s super obvious.”
“I’m not just saying that to be catty,” Tucker explained. “I think I’m trying to feel compassion for her but her hostility toward the guy is unbelievable.”
Tucker’s fellow Fox News host Megyn Kelly was quick to agree. She pointed out that “everything Michelle says about her husband is negative.”
“I almost never say negative things about Doug,” Megyn added, referring to her husband Doug Brunt. “He’s not perfect but when I think about him, I don’t immediately go to whatever is negative. I go to what’s positive and what I love about him.”

Barack has stayed silent about the divorce rumors. Meanwhile, Michelle has tried to shoot them down multiple times. However, many aren’t buying her denials, given the fact that she has continued to bash Barack on her podcast.
Michelle’s latest comments about her gripes regarding her life in Washington D.C. will certainly do nothing to help her claims that her marriage is still going strong. Only time will tell if the Obama marriage is actually able to last!
