Megyn Kelly is speaking out to torch Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for ignoring King Charles during his current visit to the United States.
Charles, 77, is visiting the United States with his wife Queen Camilla, 78, from April 27 until April 30. His son Harry, 41, and his daughter-in-law Meghan, 44, are living in Montecito, California with their two young children, the youngest of whom Charles has never even met. Despite being in the same country as Charles, Harry and Meghan have reportedly made no effort to meet with him amidst their estrangement from the royal family.
This didn’t sit well with Megyn. Indeed, the former Fox News host didn’t mince words in her take down of Meghan and Harry for ignoring the King.
Megyn Shreds Meghan And Harry
“They should be interpreting it exactly the way they are, that his son is a [expletive] and they don’t get along anymore, even though the dad is actually very sweet and the dad has been basically called a racist by the son,” Megyn, 55, told Sky News Australia.
“He’s had their entire country called racist over Brexit by the son and the wife,” she continued. “He’s had his son give up everything he gave the son for some loser grifter from Deal or No Deal, who decided to rest him away from the Royal Family and everybody who took care of him and gave him every gift in the world.”
This was a reference to the years Meghan spent as a suitcase girl on the game show Deal or No Deal prior to her marriage to Harry.
Megyn Doubles Down
Not stopping there, Megyn admitted that she would be angry if she were in Charles’ position. However, she added that the King does not seem to be harboring any animosity against the pair.
“All the reports about him are that he’s extremely forgiving of Prince Harry,” Megyn stated. But he’s such a spoiled brat son that he’s decided to villanize his own dad.”
Megyn went on to express her belief that Meghan is “in Harry’s ear.” She also thinks that the “Duke and Duchess of Duplicity” don’t want a reunion with Charles.
“They’re too busy firing more staff and reducing people to tears in Montecito,” Megyn said. It’s not going to get any better for them when [Prince] William ascends to the throne. William and Harry hate each other now.”
There is indeed a well-documented high turnover rate among Meghan and Harry’s staffers. Indeed, it seems like they are not the easiest of people to work for.
Meghan’s Estrangement From Her Father
Megyn then argued that Meghan and Harry are “super big on alienating their fathers.” She pointed out that Meghan has been estranged from her father Thomas Markle since just before her 2018 marriage to Harry.
“She doesn’t speak to her father,” Megyn said. “God forbid he messed up with the paparazzi one time in the course of their wedding, this guy who never understood how to deal with paparazzi because that’s not a thing that normal people have to deal with.
“She didn’t take any care of him, she didn’t send somebody to walk him through it or protect him,” Megyn added. “Then she decided he needed to be ex-communicated from her life and he’s never met his grandchildren, so that’s these two. It’s all about them.”
Meghan concluded by applauding Queen Camilla, who she believes may have encouraged Charles to focus on his state visit to America as opposed to his “loser son.”
It’s been six years since Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior royals. They then moved across the world to Southern California, where Meghan was born and raised. In the years since then, they have bashed the royal family seemingly every chance they’ve gotten. This has led to an estrangement from much of the royal family.
Charles has seemingly done all that he can to reconnect with his son and his family. Despite this, Meghan and Harry seem to be holding firm against the King. The fact that they aren’t even meeting with him during his visit to the United States speaks volumes. In the end, it does not seem like this royal rift will be ending anytime soon.
