The former Fox News host Megyn Kelly just launched a shocking attack on Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry. Indeed, Megyn went so far as to say that Meghan “killed” Queen Elizabeth when the monarch died back in 2022 at the age of 96.
Megyn Kelly Torches Meghan Markle
Megyn, 54, made this claim while talking to Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy on the latest episode of The Megyn Kelly Show. The conservative commentator let loose during a segment in which they were discussing a recent interview that Meghan, 43, did with Jamie Kern Lima on Lima’s podcast.
As Dave talked about how much he loves the British royal family, Meghan chimed in to say, “Another thing, she killed The Queen.”
Dave laughed at this assertion before saying in agreement, “She did kill The Queen.”
Not stopping there, Megyn proceeded to double down by further calling out Meghan.
“She’s a bully, all the young women who worked for her quit in tears she wore them down, she was so nasty,” Megyn said.
“Then when she started her own company, similar reports were coming out from Montecito that nobody can work for her, she’s a nightmare behind the scenes,” she added.

The Queen’s Death After Her Difficult Final Years
Queen Elizabeth died back in September of 2022 at the age of 96 after a record-breaking 70 years on the British throne. Her official cause of death on her death certificate was listed as old age.
Of course, Megyn does not mean that Meghan killed the Queen with her own bare hands. Instead, she’s likely suggesting that the stress that Meghan and Harry put the Queen through during her final years led to her passing.
Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior royals in January of 2020. They then moved across the world to Southern California, where Meghan was born and raised. In March of 2021, Meghan and Harry sat down for a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in which they were highly critical of the royal family.
This was the first of many interviews that they gave over the next few months and years. They seemingly used many of these interviews to bash the royals as much as they possibly could.

Did This Take A Toll On The Queen’s Health?
The Queen always took the high road and never responded publicly to Meghan and Harry’s attacks on her family. However, it wouldn’t be surprising to learn that their attacks took a toll on the Queen’s health, given her advanced age at the time. Making this even more hurtful for the Queen is the fact that she’d bent over backwards to make Meghan feel welcome in the royal family after her 2017 marriage to Harry.
“How did Meghan repay that generosity and kindness? By announcing, via a statement on the Sussexes’ Instagram page in January 2020, that they would be stepping back as senior working royals,” royal expert Richard Eden previously lamented to Daily Mail.
“Meghan then attacked the Royal Family in the most damaging way in that Oprah interview and later, in one of the most cringeworthy moments in her and Harry’s Netlfix ‘docu-series’, appeared to mock the deep curtsy that she had performed in front of the Queen at their first meeting,” he continued.
Relive that despicable moment for yourself in the video below.
“How sad that the Queen’s genuine efforts to welcome Meghan during her final years, when she was in failing health, were thrown back in her face,” Eden concluded.
We’ll never know for sure if Meghan’s behavior led to the Queen death in any way. Regardless, it’s still sad that the Queen had to spend her final years dealing with the offensive and ridiculous antics of Meghan and Harry.
