Last week, we reported that Meghan Markle was left humiliated when her show With Love, Meghan failed to crack the top 300 on Netflix during the first half of 2025. Instead, it came in at 383 in terms of most viewed Netflix shows.
Now, things have gotten even worse for Meghan. Indeed, new reports are indicating that she’s learned her fate at Netflix. According to these reports, Meghan’s $100 million contract with the streaming giant is “dead” in the water.
Meghan And Harry Likely To Lose Netflix Deal
“There are whispers that Harry and Meghan’s Netflix deal will expire quietly,” British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard told Fox News. “I can’t imagine that either party would want to shout this news over the rooftops. They will hope it’s a smooth transition.”
Chard went on to say that Meghan and her husband Prince Harry’s “star attraction has taken a nose dive.”
A Netflix insider was quick to agree. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, this source said that Meghan and Harry have fallen out of favor with the A-list elites of the entertainment world that they’re so desperate to be a part of.
“No one in Hollywood rates them anymore or wants to be around them, especially her,” the source told Daily Mail. “People are bored with them.”
Meghan’s ‘Nail In The Coffin’ With Netflix
Over the past few months, Netflix has been working with Meghan to launch and promote her products. Unfortunately for Meghan, however, this has also been a major fail.
The Netflix insider alleged that Meghan’s rosé, which promises to “capture the essence of sun-drenched outdoor moment,” has flopped in terms of sales. This has been yet another “nail in the coffin” for Meghan’s $100 million Netflix deal.
“The wine isn’t selling,” the source explained. “There’s no great demand whatsoever.”
Meghan’s As Ever brand claimed that the wine sold out in under an hour. However, the insider pointed out that “it’s small batch,” meaning it was only ever produced in a very small quantity.

Meghan And Harry’s Netflix Projects Fail
Meghan and Harry signed their five year, $100 million Netflix deal back in 2020. This came just after they stepped down as senior royals and moved across the world to Southern California.
Their debut docuseries Harry & Meghan, which they used to shamelessly bash the royal family and air their dirty laundry, remains their only major success at Netflix. Since then, projects like With Love, Meghan, Heart of Invictus and Polo have failed to gain traction with viewers. Polo, which was Harry’s passion project, currently ranks 3,436 out of around 7,000 shows on Netflix. It doesn’t get much more humiliating than that, folks.
“The majority of their material has received poor viewing figures and there doesn’t seem to be suitable appeal for any new productions starring the duo,” Chard chimed back in to say. “The court of public opinion is key here. The public do not feel kindly toward them. They trashed their family, created a huge amount of damage and monetized off of the back of the attacks.”
Meghan Only Has Herself To Blame
The Netflix insider believes that when it comes to losing this deal, Meghan only has herself to blame.
“Meghan hasn’t posted on her own socials for nearly a month,” Netflix insider said. “The issue is that there’s no consistency and people are bored with them. Many stars go silent and in the background are building their brand and equity but it feels like Harry and Meghan are losing their way even more.”
“The Netflix deal not being renewed will have a big impact on them as they are running out of options of who will work with them and reap in the future,” the source concluded. “As Ever has a good fan base and a strong database of subscribers to its newsletter but consistency is key and it’s not delivering on this so people will quickly be bored and the novelty is wearing off now for most.”
‘Major Blow’ For Meghan And Harry
Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner warned that losing this lucrative Netflix deal will be a “major blow” to Meghan and Harry’s finances. In fact, he thinks it could even incentivize them to move back to the United Kingdom.
“They obviously have a lavish lifestyle, and it was always thought that Netflix saw the duo as the jewel in the crown for their platform,” Turner said.
Yet another high-level source has confirmed that Meghan and Harry’s hopes for a new Netflix deal are “dead.”
“There’s no animosity from either side,” the source told The Sun. “Things have just run their course. Netflix execs are well aware Meghan’s priority now is her own brand, and they won’t play second fiddle to that.”
Prior to marrying Harry in 2018, Meghan spent years trying to make it as an actress in Hollywood. Though she scored a role on the cable legal drama Suits, she never achieved the A-list level fame that she craved until her royal marriage.
When Meghan achieved her Netflix deal, it appeared that her Hollywood dreams were finally coming true. Sadly for her, these dreams have since turned into a nightmare. In the end, Meghan’s failures with Netflix only show that she likely never had what it took to make it in Hollywood in the first place.
Only time will tell if Meghan and Harry can ever bounce back from this!
