Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry, has found herself in hot water once again this week as she’s being accused of ripping off the infamous Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson.
Meghan Accused Of Copying Pamela
Pamela, 57, is launching her new cooking show Pamela’s Cooking With Love this week. (Did you ever think you’d be reading that sentence?)
However, fans have been quick to point out that the trailer to Meghan’s upcoming lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, which is set to drop on Netflix on March 4, is remarkably similar to Pamela’s.
Some fans have even claimed that Meghan’s trailer is a “straight copy” of Pamela’s, which was released back in October of 2024. This was months before the first trailer for With Love, Meghan came out, giving Meghan, 43, ample time to “copy” Pamela.

The Similarities Are Uncanny
“From the similar aesthetic, titles and wardrobes to the familiar phrases and actions, frustrated fans took to X to point out all the ways in which they believe Meghan appears to have ‘copied’ Pamela’s concepts,” Daily Mail reported.
“For instance, the openings of both trailers include the stars walking in a garden admiring the produce, before inviting chefs into the kitchens as well as family and friends to try out the delicious meals,” the publication added.
At one point in her trailer, Pamela says, “I just always have wanted to take things to another level.” Meanwhile, in her own Netflix trailer, Meghan similarly gushes, “I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it.”‘
Both Pamela and Meghan claim to constantly be trying to take in knowledge from the experts that they come across.
“I’m a sponge soaking it all in… I’m learning a lot,” Pamela says. Likewise, Meghan admits that she’s “just learning” as she’s seen trying out beekeeping.
On top of that, both shows feature “with love” in their respective names. Once again, Pamela’s teaser was released first, so she’d be the one who originally had this name.

Social Media Sounds Off
Social media held nothing back as they called out Meghan for potentially ripping off Pamela’s trailer.
“If you watch the trailer for Pamela’s new show, it’s a more authentic version of what Meghan was trying to achieve and it looks as though Meghan has copied everything!” one social media user commented. “The trailers are so similar it’s freaky.”
“Markle’s show is a straight copy of Pamela Anderson’s cooking and entertaining show. Go look at the trailer!” another outraged fan added. A third wrote, “I know I shouldn’t be surprised but I am. Pamela’s show looks authentic and like something I’d enjoy watching. I can’t believe Netflix didn’t see Meghan’s show as a complete rip off of this one!”
“And Markle is copying AGAIN. Some of it obvious, some of it subtle,” yet another social media user commented.
Even the renowned royal expert Angela Levin got in on the action, saying that “it’s obvious” that Meghan “stole” from Pamela’s trailer.

Meghan’s Desperation For Netflix Success
This will all undoubtedly come as bad news to Meghan. Indeed, it’s been reported that she desperate for her new Netflix series to be a success after various other public failures.
“Meghan’s success is dependent upon the success of her new lifestyle show,” British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard told Fox News earlier this month. “I am dubious whether there will be a global appeal… The worst that can happen is the lifestyle show and product sales are not a success.”
“Netflix has control to move on from Meghan,” she added. “In true entrepreneurial spirit, Meghan will just start again.”
These accusations that Meghan copied Pamela will undoubtedly do nothing to help her Netflix show become a hit. And unfortunately for Meghan, the outrage against her over this appears to only be growing.

Pamela’s Career Resurgence
Meanwhile, this comes at a time of great career resurgence for Pamela. Last Sunday, she attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where she was nominated for Best Actress for her work in The Last Showgirl.

Though she lost the award to The Substance star Demi Moore, the nomination alone was huge for Pamela, as it cemented her as a serious actress for the first time in the eyes of many. Fans feel protective of Pamela after her decades of struggles in Hollywood, so it’s not surprising that they’d rush to her defense when Meghan seemingly copied her.
