Earlier this week, Christian Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg visited his oldest daughter at college. There, he had an adorable moment that dads everywhere will be able to relate to.

Wahlberg Visits His Daughter At College

Last Sunday, Wahlberg, 53, visited his daughter Ella Rae, 20, at her college. Afterwards, he took to social media to post a photo of himself taking part in the relatable dad moment of patiently sitting in a chair at a clothing store.

“When you go visit your daughter at college and end up in Love Shack Fancy,” he wrote in the caption on Facebook. He added emojis of a dress, shopping bags, a money bag, and a smiley face with its tongue sticking out.

Girl dads, you’ve been there! Heck, most of you husbands and boyfriends out there have been through the same!

Wahlberg later shared a photo of himself and Ella at the clothing store on Instagram with the caption, “So proud of this young lady 🥰😘❤️❤️.”

Ella is the oldest of Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham’s four children. The others are Michael, 18, Brendan Joseph, 15, and Grace Margaret, 14, according to People Magazine. Ella reportedly attends Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina.

Wahlberg Regrets Not Going To College

Fox News reported that in November of last year, Wahlberg admitted that seeing Ella thrive at college has made him regret not going to college himself.

“She’s just so happy there,” he revealed. “She’s really thriving.”

“We just went to parents’ weekend, you know with the sorority girls and the frat house,” he continued. “It was like, ‘Oh my God.’ I definitely felt like I never really had too many regrets about not going to college until I saw (this).”

One month later, Wahlberg revealed that he’d gotten a taste of college life by crashing a fraternity party.

“They were having the most fun I’ve ever seen anybody have, ever! Even more than her coming to Vegas,” Wahlberg told Entertainment Tonight. “I was at the frat house and, you know, a couple of spots in town.”

“It was nuts,” he added. “Parents’ weekend was incredible.”

Wahlberg’s Hopes For His Children

Being a good father is something that is incredibly important to Wahlberg. Earlier this month, Wahlberg opened up about what his hopes are for his children.

“I just want them to figure out what it is they want to do and then pursue it with all, with everything that they have, to be passionate about it and put in the work, and the best thing I can do is be an example and show them how hard I’m willing to work to be successful and to make my dreams come true,” he told Fox News.

The importance of hard work is something that Wahlberg hopes he’s instilled in each of his children.

“I just want them to go out there and work hard,” he explained. “If you work hard, there isn’t anything you can’t accomplish. I try to encourage people, despite where they come from, the obstacles they have to overcome, there isn’t anything you can’t accomplish if you’re willing to do the work.”

Wahlberg’s kids are lucky to have a devoted dad like him. We wish Ella the best of luck as she continues her college education!
