Earlier this week, we reported that Ben Affleck has made it clear that he’s willing to pay millions to permanently cut Jennifer Lopez out of his life months after their bitter divorce was finalized.
Now, Lopez is firing back in a big way. Indeed, she’s hitting Affleck right where it hurts with some epic summer plans that show that she’s ready to move on as well.
Lopez’s Wild Summer Plans
Insiders are claiming that Lopez, 55, has some big summer plans for herself when she goes on tour in Europe and the Middle East. What she has in mind will likely serve as a brutal message to Affleck, 52.
“She’s looking into chartering a fully crewed yacht and being surrounded by hot guys and her trusted entourage,” a source told Star Magazine.
The insider went on to explain that Lopez has been inspired to do this by the Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio, 50. The Titanic star has long been known for his affinity for partying with beautiful young women on yachts.
“She always thought Leo DiCaprio had it made, and she plans on being the female equivalent,” the source added. “She wants to have fun.”
Lopez reportedly wants this summer to be far different from the summer that she had in 2024. She filed for divorce from Affleck in August of last year, listing their date of separation as April 26, 2024. This came after just two years of marriage. Lopez proceeded to spend the summer by herself laying low in New York’s posh Hamptons.
Now that she appears to have moved on from her Affleck heartbreak, however, it seems that Lopez intends to spend this summer partying with as many eligible men as she can. Who can blame her for that?!
Lopez’s “Up All Night: Live in 2025” is set to start on July 4 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. The tour will then end one month later on August 10 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Lopez’s tour is already highly anticipated by her fans overseas, and it will consist of nineteen shows.
Lopez And Affleck’s History
Fans will be happy to see that Lopez is finally moving on from Affleck, as she took their split especially hard. Though they were only married for two years, their love story goes back decades.
Affleck and Lopez met in December of 2001 on the set of their movie Gigli. They became engaged the next year, only to shock fans by calling off their planned wedding in 2003 just days before it was set to take place.
Affleck and Lopez each went on to marry and divorce different people. Affleck married the former Alias star Jennifer Garner in 2005 and had three children with her before they divorced in 2018. Prior to Lopez, Affleck’s union with Garner was his only marriage.
Meanwhile, Lopez married the singer Marc Anthony, staying with him from 2004 until they divorced in 2014. He’s the father of her twins.
Affleck was actually Lopez’s fourth husband. Her first marriage was to the actor Ojani Noa, who she was married to from 1997 until 1998. She then married her backup dancer Cris Judd in 2002, and they divorced the next year.
Affleck and Lopez reunited in 2021, and they married in July of 2022. Lopez filed for divorce exactly two years later, and their divorce was finalized in January of this year.

Affleck Desperate To Cut Ties With Lopez
Though they are officially divorced, Lopez and Affleck still own a mega-mansion that they bought together in Beverly Hills, California. They put the mansion on the market for a whopping $68 million in July of last year. After being unable to sell it, however, they slashed this price by $8 million. Despite this, they have still not been able to find a buyer.
This mansion is the last thing tying Lopez and Affleck together. Because of this, Affleck is willing to slash the price by millions more, just to get Lopez out of his life. Indeed, he seemingly thinks permanently cutting ties with Lopez is worth losing millions of his own money.
“Ben and JLo slashed the price on their Beverly Hills mansion for $8 million less than they paid for it, but this is nothing to Ben,” the source told Daily Mail. “He really just wants this to be sold so that he can cut the final cord that keeps him and Jennifer intertwined.”
Based on the new reports about her summer plans, it appears that Lopez wants to let it be known that she’s also ready to cut ties with Affleck once and for all.
