It’s been six months since Jennifer Lopez finalized her divorce from Ben Affleck after just two years of marriage. Now, things have gotten even worse for Lopez. Indeed, a source close to Lopez is claiming that the singer has gone into “panic mode” after suffering a brutally humiliating career setback.
Lopez Suffers Major Career Setback
Insiders are alleging that Lopez has been dropped by her record company, the music giant BMG. She was reportedly given the boot after her latest album This Is Me … Now and its accompanying documentary ended up being major flops.
“She can’t believe this is happening to her,” the source said of Lopez. “She can’t seem to win no matter what she does and it’s bumming her out.”
Lopez, 56, is reportedly trying to save face by claiming that her split from BMG was a mutual decision. However, according to the insider, this couldn’t be further from the truth.
“It was a one-album deal, and the company was disappointed with sales and opted to part ways with her,” the source claimed.
Lopez Is In ‘Panic Mode’
The insider went on to allege that Lopez is currently in full “panic mode” because she’s already recorded multiple songs bashing her ex-husband Affleck. Unfortunately for her, she now has no record label to release them.
Lopez has reportedly reacted to all of this by desperately barking orders to her PR and marketing teams in the hopes of saving her career before it’s too late.
“She’s demanding they find another way to release her music — she’ll even go independent if that’s what it takes,” the source stated.
That being said, Lopez is not someone who is willing to go down without a fight. In fact, she seems to have a few more tricks up her sleeve when it comes to her future.
“This may be a serious setback, but don’t count J.Lo out yet,” the insider concluded. “She’s always got an ace up her sleeve. Word is, she’s looking for an A-list star like Kevin Costner to latch onto to pump up interest in her love life and polish her shattered image.”

Lopez’s Controversial Sex Confession
BMG reportedly decided to drop Lopez last week after she stirred up controversy by making a sex confession while performing at the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy. There, Lopez told her fans that she is feeling more “naughty” than ever before when it comes to her sexual exploits.
“I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night. I don’t know about you, but I do — and sometimes I like it hard,” Lopez began. “Other days, I am feeling a little romantic. You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow.”
“But there’s other days . . . maybe because it’s a new kind of time for me, maybe because it’s summertime and it’s hot outside, I feel a little more naughty,” she continued.
Lopez couldn’t help but laugh as the crowd audibly reacted to what she had to say.
“You ever get that feeling?” she asked them. “Where you feel like being naughty? On those days, I like it real fast.”
This didn’t sit well with the former Fox News host Megyn Kelly, who took to social media to respond.
“So she’s a soft porn star now. Great choices!” Kelly wrote alongside a video of Lopez’s sexually explicit performance.
This has clearly been a very difficult year for Lopez, both personally and professionally. Only time will tell if Lopez will ever fully bounce back!
