Yesterday, we reported that Jennifer Lopez has gone into full “panic mode” after she was allegedly dropped by her record label, the music giant BMG. Now, things have gotten even worse for Lopez. Indeed, new reports indicate that Lopez is “struggling” to sell tickets for her Las Vegas residency.
Lopez Struggles To Sell Tickets
Earlier this year, Lopez, 56, announced a limited-run Las Vegas “residency” that will be built around three New Year’s Eve shows and six dates in March. This is a stark contrast to the typical Las Vegas residency, which usually sees artists performing so much that they move to Sin City for a period of time.
Unfortunately for Lopez, however, her ticket sales are not going well. Indeed, Ticketmaster shows that many tickets are still available in all sections for Lopez’s shows, much to her humiliation.
“(Lopez) made a deal for up to 100 shows over three years, but there’s been little interest so far from the fans — especially at these prices,” one music insider told News Nation.
Though a Lopez insider denied there were 100 shows, this source added that “she has the option to perform more if she feels like it.
Other Las Vegas insiders are comparing Lopez to the country music legend Dolly Parton, who announced her two-week gig at Caesar’s at the end of June. Though this was one month after Lopez announced her “residency,” Parton still managed to sell out her tickets in just two days.
“It’s shocking how well Dolly did — and how poorly JLo is doing (per sales),” said the music insider.

Lopez Gets Desperate
It seems that Lopez is desperately trying to drum up interest in her shows by making them sexier than ever. This has blown up in her face, as she was widely slammed last week for making a shocking sex confession onstage while performing at the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy. There, Lopez told her fans that she is feeling more “naughty” than ever before when it comes to her sexual exploits.
“I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night. I don’t know about you, but I do — and sometimes I like it hard,” Lopez began. “Other days, I am feeling a little romantic. You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow.”
“But there’s other days . . . maybe because it’s a new kind of time for me, maybe because it’s summertime and it’s hot outside, I feel a little more naughty,” she continued.
Lopez couldn’t help but laugh as the crowd audibly reacted to what she had to say.
“You ever get that feeling?” she asked them. “Where you feel like being naughty? On those days, I like it real fast.”
This didn’t sit well with the former Fox News host Megyn Kelly, who took to social media to respond.
“So she’s a soft porn star now. Great choices!” Kelly wrote alongside a video of Lopez’s sexually explicit performance.

Lopez ‘Can’t Seem To Win’
Then came the claims that Lopez has been dropped by her record label BMG. Insiders are alleging that Lopez was given the boot after her latest album This Is Me … Now and its accompanying documentary ended up being major flops.
“She can’t believe this is happening to her,” a source said of Lopez. “She can’t seem to win no matter what she does and it’s bumming her out.”
Lopez is reportedly trying to save face by claiming that her split from BMG was a mutual decision. However, according to the insider, this couldn’t be further from the truth.
“It was a one-album deal, and the company was disappointed with sales and opted to part ways with her,” the source claimed.
In the end, things are certainly not looking good for Lopez right now. Only time will tell if she can ever recover from this!
