Aniston’s Other Projects With Apple TV+

This isn’t the only Apple TV+ project Aniston has on her plate.

Aniston also stars on the popular drama series The Morning Show as Alex Levy, and is also one of the show’s producers.

The Morning Show producers have picked it up for four seasons, with the fourth season premiering on September 17th, 2025. The series is based on a nonfiction book, Top of the Morning, by CNN chief media analyst Brian Stelter.

Thankfully, her involvement in I’m Glad My Mom Died will not impact Aniston’s role in The Morning Show, which has a good chance of landing a fifth season in the future.

What Will the Series Be About?

The Apple TV+ series will span ten episodes.

According to a press release from Apple TV+, the show “I’m Glad My Mom Died is a heartbreaking and hilarious recounting of Jennette McCurdy’s struggles as a former child actor while dealing with her overbearing, domineering mother. The dramedy will center on the codependent relationship between an 18-year-old actress in a hit kids’ show, and her narcissistic mother who relishes in her identity as a ‘starlet’s mother,’ set to be played by Aniston.”

McCurdy first rose to fame with her role as Sam Puckett on the Nickelodeon sitcom iCarly. She later reprised this role on the spinoff series Sam & Cat alongside Ariana Grande.

Many executive producers and producers are working on the series.

These include Jennette McCurdy, Ari Katcher, Jennifer Aniston via Echo Films; Horgan and Stacy Greenberg for Merman, Dani Gorin, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara for LuckyChap; Jerrod Carmichael, and Erica Kay.
