Fears are growing for the health of Harrison Ford, 82, after the former Indiana Jones star made a recent appearance at Disney’s D23 Expo, where he accepted the honor of Disney Legend.
Ford Accepts Disney Legend Honor
Last month, Ford accepted the honor for his significant contributions to Lucasfilm, which is a subsidiary of Disney. His most notable role for the studio was obviously Han Solo, who he famously played in the Star Wars movies.
“I love the life you’ve given me,” Ford told the audience. “I love the people that I’ve had the opportunity to work with. Nobody does anything in this business for long. We work in collaboration, no matter what who we are and what we’re doing.”
Ford became visibly emotional as he added, “The stories are for you, about you, about us. To be able to work in that area is a privilege.”
Check out his appearance in the video below. It will quickly become apparent why fans are worried about Ford’s health.

Fears For Ford’s Health
Ford left his handprints in cement during the ceremony. In the weeks since then, however, fans have noticed from footage of the event that Ford had trouble signing his name beside the handprints. This has sparked fears for his health that are only spreading as time goes on.
“He does not look well,” a concerned fan commented. Another added, “Congrats to him, but it breaks my heart to see him so frail.”
“Is anyone else concerned one hand was more pressed than the other?” a third person wrote. A fourth fan stated, “Tough to see my guy getting old.”
Last year, Ford admitted that he is “recovering from various injuries.”
“Basically I do rehab,” Ford told People Magazine when asked how he stays in shape. “I don’t do physical training. It’s just all rehab, physical therapy. I’m really just like an old man.”
“I’m recovering from various injuries, so I continue to keep myself moving,” Ford continued. “I love tennis and riding road bikes over distance. I can’t play tennis anymore because of my [injured] shoulders, but I’m working on get ting back to being able to play. And I can’t ride my bike yet. I was disadvantaged physically. I’m trying to get back.”

Ford Retires Indiana Jones Character
Also in 2023, Ford officially retired from playing the iconic character of Indiana Jones after the release of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
“This is the final film in the series, and this is the last time I’ll play the character,” Ford said at the time. “I anticipate that it will be the last time that he appears in a film.”
While there is an Indiana Jones television show in the works, Ford was adamant that he will “not be involved in that, if it does come to fruition.”
Ford played Jones in six movies over the course of 42 years.
“I’ve been able to deliver amazing films developed by Steven [Spielberg] and George [Lucas] over a 40-year period, and to end it not with a whimper, but a bang, has been my greatest ambition for this excursion,” he concluded.
Ford is a true legend, and there will never be another one like him. We can only hope that he isn’t suffering from a serious health issue at this time. Please join us in saying a prayer for Ford!
