The American Pickers star Mike Wolfe celebrated his 60th birthday on Wednesday with his girlfriend Leticia Cline.
It comes at a time of severe grief for Wolfe, who just lost his best friend and former American Pickers co-star Frank Fritz.
Wolfe’s Birthday
“You will forever be my greatest adventure and the home my heart will always seek,” Cline, 46, wrote on Instagram alongside two photos of her and Wolfe in a vintage car. “If we measured the sunsets, trips we’ve taken, concerts we’ve seen, people’s lives we’ve touched, animals we’ve helped, things we’ve loved then you’d be older than reality could comprehend.”
“A life well lived is not measured in years, but instead by how many people measure their lives by yours and you have such a beautiful life that over flows with it,” she continued. “I’m just happy I get a front seat for it all. Love you babe. Happiest of birthdays.”
Wolfe and Cline have been dating since 2021. Prior to that, Wolfe was married to Jodi Catherine Wolfe. The former couple was together for nine years before she filed for divorce siting “irreconcilable differences” in July of 2021. Court documents obtained by People Magazine show that Wolfe and his ex-wife had been separated for over a year at the time of their split.
Wolfe Still Mourning Frank Fritz
This comes after a difficult month for Wolfe. On September 30, his close friend and former American Pickers co-star Frank Fritz died at the age of 60 two years after suffering a stroke. Wolfe was by Fritz’s side holding his hand as he took his last breath.
After Fritz’s death, Cline shot down rumors that Wolfe was feuding with him at the time of his passing.
“For the past 3 years I have been a witness to how Mike has done everything possible to make sure Frank has had the best care,” Cline wrote on her Instagram Story.
“It’s been hard to be silent while rumors spread untruths and foster hate but instead of wasting energy defending himself, he’s spent that time on phone calls and in person with Frank and his caregivers including being by his side as he took his last breath last night,” she continued.
Cline went on to say that while she “never got to meet Frank,” she was still “able to know him through the countless stories Mike” told her “about their adventures together before and after the show.”
“‘I’m so proud of the grace and resilience Mike has had during these years and how he has never let it come between the bond of friendship,” she concluded. “Frank will be missed by so many.”
Wolfe Was With Fritz When He Died
Last week, Wolfe opened up about Fritz’s death to People.
“I got the call that he wasn’t doing well,” Wolfe recalled. “I just feel blessed that I was able to get there…I was there for about an hour before he passed, and I was holding his hand and rubbing his chest when he took his last breath…I took my fingers and I closed his eyes.”
Wolfe then revealed what he said to Fritz in their final moments together.
“I just told him that I wasn’t mad at him and that I loved him and that I cared about him so much,” Wolfe recounted. “And then when I could see that he was struggling, I just said, ‘Just go find your mom. Go find her right now. Just go find her.'”
