Earlier this month, we reported that the American Pickers star Frank Fritz passed away at the age of 60 after suffering from a debilitating stroke two years before. Afterwards, it was revealed that Fritz’s former American Pickers co-star Mike Wolfe was by his side when he passed away.
This came as a surprise to some. Indeed, it had been reported for years that Fritz and Wolfe were feuding. Now, however, Wolfe’s girlfriend Leticia Cline is speaking out to put these rumors to rest.
Wolfe’s Girlfriend Sounds Off
“For the past 3 years I have been a witness to how Mike has done everything possible to make sure Frank has had the best care,” Cline wrote on her Instagram Story.
“It’s been hard to be silent while rumors spread untruths and foster hate but instead of wasting energy defending himself, he’s spent that time on phone calls and in person with Frank and his caregivers including being by his side as he took his last breath last night,” she continued.
Cline went on to say that while she “never got to meet Frank,” she was still “able to know him through the countless stories Mike” told her “about their adventures together before and after the show.”
“‘I’m so proud of the grace and resilience Mike has had during these years and how he has never let it come between the bond of friendship,” she concluded. “Frank will be missed by so many.”
No doubt, this will come as welcome news to fans who were heartbroken over the rumors.

Wolfe Announces Fritz’s Death
It was Wolfe who announced Fritz’s death on October 1.
“It’s with a broken heart that I share with all of you that Frank passed away last night,” Wolfe wrote on Instagram. “I’ve know Frank for more then half my life and what you’ve seen on TV has always been what I have seen, a dreamer who was just as sensitive as he was funny. The same off camera as he was on, Frank had a way of reaching the hearts of so many by just being himself.”
“Who would have ever dreamed we would share the cockpit of a white cargo van in front of millions of people interested in our adventures,” he continued. “Before the show we would take off together to places we never knew existed with no destination in mind and just the shared passion to discover something interesting and historic.”

‘I Love You Buddy’
Wolfe ended his post by saying his final goodbye to his buddy Fritz.
“We’ve been on countless trips and shared so many miles and I feel blessed that I was there by his side when he took one last journey home,” Wolfe concluded. “I love you buddy and will miss you so much I know your in a better place.”
Fritz and Wolfe were friends for forty years. They began starring together on American Pickers back in 2010. Fritz sadly left the show in 2021 to focus on his health. A feud ensued between he and Wolfe from there. Thankfully, they were clearly able to reconcile before Fritz passed away.
Please join us in saying a prayer for Wolfe and all of Fritz’s other loved ones during this tragic time.
