It’s been two months since the music mogul and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, was arrested for human trafficking and racketeering. Diddy was denied bail and remanded to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. He remains there to this day.

Now, Diddy is claiming that the feds have raided his jail cell. Let’s just say he’s not very happy about it.

Feds Allegedly Raid Diddy’s Jail Cell

Court documents obtained by TMZ allege that prosecutors are in possession of attorney-client privileged material that was seized from Diddy’s jail cell. Diddy’s lawyers are claiming that prosecutors are leveraging private legal writings that they took from his cell to keep him behind bars until his trial, which is set to begin on May 5.

Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo went so far as to accuse prosecutors of “outrageous government conduct.”

“This is a matter of grave concern that, most respectfully, must be addressed immediately,” Agnifilo told Judge Arun Subramanian.

Agnifilo is asking for an “immediate hearing” for prosecutors to explain who authorized for Diddy’s cell to be raided.

“This search and seizure are in violation of Mr. Combs’ [constitutional] rights,” Agnifilo said in other court documents obtained by Billboard. “The targeted seizure of a pre-trial detainee’s work product and privileged materials – created in preparation for trial – is outrageous government conduct amounting to a substantive due process violation.”

“This is a matter of grave concern that, most respectfully, must be addressed immediately, because the U.S. Attorney, and it seems the trial prosecutors, are currently in possession of privileged materials we request a full evidentiary hearing as soon as the Court can accommodate us,” he continued.

Prosecutors Fire Back

Prosecutors fired back on Friday by accusing Diddy of various offenses. These include attempting to contact witnesses, leak favorable materials, and orchestrate “social media campaigns” to both drum up public support and taint the potential jury pool.

“Defendant has continued to engage in a relentless course of obstructive conduct designed to subvert the integrity of these proceedings,” prosecutors stated.

Prosecutors went on to admit that some of the evidence that they have for these accusations came in the form of notes found in Diddy’s cell during “a pre-planned nationwide sweep of BOP facilities.” It was then that officials found “possibly privileged materials.” However, prosecutors added that the evidence was screened by a so-called filter team so as to avoid any improper material.

Diddy’s History

This comes after federal agents raided Diddy’s mansions in Miami and Los Angeles back in March. They seized hundreds of sex videos and tons of sex paraphernalia, including 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lube. The U.S. Attorney’s Office then claimed that Diddy has hosted sex parties for years. These events allegedly were oftentimes not always consensual for everyone involved.

Diddy was arrested on September 16 and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. If convicted, he is facing a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of life in prison. Diddy has pled not guilty to all of the charges against him.

Diddy has many famous friends who are undoubtedly sweating over potentially being implicated in his case. It will certainly be interesting to see how all of this develops in the coming months.
