Chris Pratt, who has long been known as one of the only openly Christian stars in Hollywood, is speaking out this week to rip into other actors who have “bad attitudes.”
Pratt Sounds Off
Last Thursday, Pratt, 45, was taking part in a New York Comic Con panel for his upcoming Netflix sci-fi film The Electric State. During the panel, Pratt praised his “incredible” costar Millie Bobby Brown, 20. He told the audience that unlike many other actors, she displayed a great attitude on set.
“Look, these guys can attest to this, because they’re the same way, like, there’s no room for […] attitudes there,” Pratt said. “You can’t have a bad… you can’t have a bad attitude in moviemaking, it ruins everything for everyone, and then you don’t last long.”
“It sucks when people have a crappy attitude,” the Guardians of the Galaxy star lamented. “So when you show up on set, there’s no reason why you should… Like, ‘Oh, are you having a hard time living your dream? Is that tough for you today?’ Like, come on and pull your head out. Have fun.”
It’s a fair point. Stars get paid millions to pretend on screen. That’s too hard? Tell that to someone working at the paper mill!
Pratt Gushes Over Brown
Pratt went on to gush over Brown, who is best known for playing 11 in the Netflix TV series Stranger Things.
“And she’s just incredible,” he said of her. “She was surrounded by all these animals. She’s like, they would yell cut and she’d go to her home and she’s finding a home for, like some pygmy goat to be adopted and organizing a U-Haul full of pit bull puppies to be taken to Indiana. Like she has such a huge heart, such a love for animals.”
“And so we had a great time,” he added. “We became fast friends, and you can’t get rid of me. Sorry.”

The Electric State
The Electric State is set to premiere on Netflix in March of 2025. In the film, Brown plays Michelle. This character is “an orphaned teenager navigating life in a society where sentient robots resembling cartoons and mascots, who once served peacefully among humans, now live in exile following a failed uprising.”
“As they venture into the Exclusion Zone, a walled-off corner in the desert where robots now exist on their own, Keats [Pratt] and Michelle find a strange, colorful group of new animatronic allies — and begin to learn that the forces behind Christopher’s disappearance are more sinister than they ever expected,” Netflix said of the movie.
The Electric State is based a graphic novel by Simon Stålenhag and written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The film was directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.
Aside from Pratt and Brown, the film also stars stars Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Giancarlo Esposito, and Stanley Tucci. It additionally features the voices of Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Hank Azaria, Colman Domingo, and Alan Tudyk.

Pratt Couldn’t Resist Doing The Electric State
During this same panel, Pratt opened up about why he chose to do this movie.
“I had intended to take a chunk of time off to be home and then I read this script and I was like, “ahhhhh […], I guess I have to do this movie,'” he recalled. “It was so good and opportunities like this just don’t come around that often.”
‘It has themes that are so resonant and important for today regards to technology and humanity,” Pratt explained. “So it’s just a special film and when something like this comes along, you have to do it.”
Pratt is one of the most talented actors working in movies today. We’re glad to see that unlike many celebrities, he prioritizes a good attitude and treating others with respect!
