Over the past few months, we’ve been reporting that the singer Beyoncé has been struggling to sell tickets to her Cowboy Carter tour. Indeed, it’s become clear to many that this country music tour has completely gone off the rails.
On Saturday night, however, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour derailed in a terrifying new way. This time, a horrific stage malfunction left Beyoncé dangling high above her crowd of fans from a tilted car.
Beyoncé Left Dangling From Tilted Car
Beyoncé, 43, was performing her song “16 Carriages” in a car suspended above concertgoers at the NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston, Texas. Suddenly, the car malfunctioned and began to tilt.
Beyoncé tried to keep singing as the car continued to tilt at an increasingly sharp angle. Meanwhile, she held on for dear life to one of the cables attached to the vehicle.
“Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop,” Beyoncé finally screamed as the music cut out. She then helplessly looked up and down as she remained suspended for several seconds. As the crowd began to cheer, the singer managed a smile for them.
“Thank y’all for your patience,” Beyoncé said before she was finally lowered to the ground.

Once she reached the ground, Beyoncé remained seated as she smiled until the lights were turned off. She then “briefly” left the stage floor before returning to finish out her performance like a true pro.
“If ever I fall, I know y’all would catch me,” Beyoncé told the crowd when she got back onstage. They replied by uproariously cheering, seemingly confirming that they would indeed do just that!

Beyoncé Responds
After the concert ended, Beyoncé’s team responded to the incident in a brief statement obtained by Daily Mail.
“Tonight in Houston, at NRG Stadium, a technical mishap caused the flying car, a prop Beyoncé uses to circle the stadium, and see her fans up close, to tilt,” they said.
“She was quickly lowered and no one was injured,” the statement added. “The show continued without incident.”
Even so, Beyoncé’s loyal fans were left shocked and horrified by what happened here.
“Omg she scared me,” a fan wrote over another viral clip of the ordeal on TikTok. “So glad she’s safe and nothing happened!! SOMEBODY GETTING FIRREDDDD.”
This was a reference to Beyoncé’s iconic line from her I Am World Tour in 2010.
Beyoncé Struggles To Sell Cowboy Carter Tickets
This comes at a difficult time for Beyoncé, as she’s struggled to sell tickets to her Cowboy Carter tour. Indeed, many fans haven’t connected with her foray into country music.
“While I’m a Beyoncé fan, I personally don’t enjoy Cowboy Carter as much as her other albums,” one fan recently told The London Times. “So I just decided not to get a ticket.”
“Nobody cares about cowgirl version of Beyoncé,” a social media user boldly declared. Another wrote, “This country album should’ve been a donation based concert.”

Needless to say, this has all been very humiliating for Beyoncé. Back in April, when her Cowboy Carter tickets were slashed to prices as low as $20, a social media post went viral comparing this to the price of limited edition Minecraft Movie Big Mac Meals from McDonald’s. These meals are being sold for around the same price.
“Due to its low demand, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour tickets ($20) are now cheaper than a McDonald’s Minecraft meal ($21.39),” the viral post read.
It doesn’t get much more embarrassing than that, folks!
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour is set to end on July 26. Saturday night’s stage malfunction will definitely do nothing to help her feel better about this tour. Only time will tell if Beyoncé will decide to continue on with country music after this!
