Angelina Jolie Believes Jennifer Aniston And Brad Pitt Conspired To Get Her Snubbed By The Oscars This Year

Last month, we reported that many were shocked when the A-list Hollywood star Angelina Jolie was snubbed by the Oscars. Digging deeper, it seems Jolie believes that’s no accident.

She’s allegedly blaming her ex-husband Brad Pitt and his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston for conspiring with one another to box her out!

Angelina ‘Furious’ About Oscars Snub

Angelina, 49, is reportedly “furious” that she wasn’t nominated for Best Actress for her work in the movie Maria. Indeed, Angelina believes that the real-life opera singer Maria Callas was a “career-defining” role for her.

“The face that she didn’t even get nominated is unbelievable to her,” one insider claimed. “She believed this would be the role that would return her to the top of the Hollywood heap. She’s sure that being totally passed over is Brad’s work.”

Angelina Thinks Brad Launched ‘Smear Campaign’

Brad and Angelina finalized their bitter divorce back in December after a brutal eight year battle.

“Angelina feels that Brad purposely tried to make her look like the bad guy in their breakup, and she’s convinced his smear campaign worked,” the source added.

This insider also went on to say that Angelina thinks that Brad’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston helped him in the plot. Brad and Jennifer were still married when he began having an affair with Angelina on the set of their 2005 movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Over the past few years, Brad has reportedly been claiming to much of Hollywood that Angelina purposely destroyed his marriage to Jennifer and proceeded to treat him badly. This has been corroborated by Jennifer and her many famous friends in Hollywood.

“It’s been 20 years since Angelina stole Brad from Jennifer, but she still hasn’t forgiven her,” the source claimed. “And there are plenty of powerful people in the industry who are on her side.”

In the end, Angelina’s anger over her snub may be enough to make her finally leave Hollywood for good.

“Angie’s been saying for years how badly she wants to leave Tinseltown and all the fake people behind,” the source concluded. “This is the last straw for her. She wants out.”

Angelina Snubbed By Oscars

Angelina being snubbed was one of the biggest shocks of Oscar morning. This season, Angelina had been nominated for a Golden Globe, an Astra Film Award, and a Critics’ Choice Movie Award. On top of that, she’d been honored at the 2024 Gotham Awards. At the Oscars, however, she came up short.

At the time of her snub, another source told Page Six, “Angelina will be devasted … look at all the press she did for the film — she wanted to get nominated.”

“She did Jimmy Fallon, her first late-night show in over a decade,” this insider continued. “She even went to the Gotham Awards, she did all these magazine covers.”

The source also believes that Brad had something to do with the snub.

“This just shows that Hollywood is Team Brad. The Globes showed that the foreign press loves her, but that’s not Hollywood,” the insider lamented. “Nobody was going to go against Brad and give Angelina a vote … people just love Brad.”

Angelina, Brad, and Jennifer each have yet to speak out about any of this. If Brad and Jennifer really did have something to do with Angelina’s Oscar snub, however, it shows just how powerful they are in Hollywood indeed!
