The Hollywood star Jeremy Renner, 53, reemerged in New York City on Wednesday before the season three premiere of his hit Paramount+ show Mayor Of Kingstown.

Renner Reemerges

Daily Mail reported that Renner smiled at photographers as he stepped out wearing  a black long-sleeved button-up shirt and matching pants. He rounded out his look with some shiny black dress shoes.

Renner is currently promoting the upcoming season of his hit show Mayor of Kingstown.

The official description of the new season states that “a series of explosions rock Kingstown and its citizens as a new face of the Russian mob sets up shop in the city, and a drug war rages inside and outside prison walls.”

“The pressure is on McLusky to end the war but things get complicated when a familiar face from his incarcerated past threatens to undermine the Mayor’s attempts to keep the peace among all factions,” it adds.

Renner stars on the show alongside Hugh Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan-Headley, Aidan Gillen, Dianne Wiest and Nishi Munshi. Check out a trailer for the third season in the video below.

Renner’s Snow Plow Accident

This comes over a year after Renner was nearly killed in a snow plow accident on January 1, 2023 at his home near Lake Tahoe in Nevada. The accident saw Renner be run over by his own seven-ton Pistenbully snow groomer, and it left him with 38 broken bones, and he had to undergo multiple surgeries to repair his rib cage, face and legs.

Earlier this year, Renner told The Hollywood Reporter that returning to his work on Mayor of Kingstown has only helped his recovery.

“All I can focus on is this,” Renner said. “Doing television is quite arduous. It’s long hours and a lot of heavy lifting.”

Renner went on to say that he “will see how [he comes] out at the end of it,” adding that his main focus is on his “recovery and strengthening and just getting better, internally and externally.”

Renner Had ‘A Lot To Fight For’

Renner told CNN back in January that he had “a lot to fight for,” which helped him survive this accident.

“I’m just so blessed I had so many things to live for, I have a giant family, a 10-year-old daughter,”  he said. “I would have disappointed and really messed up a lot of people’s lives if I would have passed.”

Renner shares a daughter with his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco.

“I’m also pretty stubborn, there’s a lot for me to fight for and recovery was just a one-way road in my mind and my recovery,” he added.

Born and raised in Modesto, California, Renner has been an A-list Hollywood star for many years, and he’s been nominated for two Academy Awards during his career. He was first nominated for the Best Actor Oscar in 2010 for his work in The Hurt Locker, and was then nominated again for an Oscar in the Best Supporting Actor category the next year for The Town.
