Wallen’s Arrest

Court documents obtained by ABC News show that at around 11 p.m. on Sunday night, officers standing outside of Chiefs Bar in Nashville “witnessed a chair come from above and hit Broadway.” The documents go on to allege that “the chair was approximately three feet away from two officers.”

“Cameras show the defendant lunging and throwing an object over the roof. It then showed an object flying off the roof,” the documents continue, adding that the roof was six floors up.

“Witnesses stated they were standing to the right of the defendant and observed him pick up the chair and throw it over him, laughing afterward,” the documents state. “Officers arrested the defendant with three counts of reckless endangerment for two officers being in the vicinity and the danger to the public.”

“Additionally, he was charged with disorderly conduct as he created a hazardous condition by an act that served no legitimate purpose,” they add.

Wallen’s N-Word Scandal

Wallen had previously come under fire in 2021 after he was caught on camera dropping the n-word as he returned home from a drunken night out with friends. This led to him being targeted by cancel culture for years.

“There’s no excuse. I’ve never made an excuse. I never will make an excuse,” Wallen said of the scandal back in December, according to Variety. “I’ve talked to a lot of people, heard stories [about] things that I would have never thought about because I wasn’t the one going through it.”

“And I think, for me, in my heart I was never that guy that people were portraying me to be, so there was a little bit of like, ‘Damn, I’m kind of actually mad about this a little bit because I know I shouldn’t have said this, but I’m really not that guy,'” he continued. “I put myself in just such a sh-t spot, you know? Like, ‘You really messed up here, guy.’ If I was that guy, then I wouldn’t have cared. I wouldn’t have apologized. I wouldn’t have done any of that if I really was that guy that people were saying about me.”

Despite the attempts to cancel Wallen, he has remained incredibly popular, and the success of his top ten songs only serve as proof of that. While his latest run-in with the law is alarming, it’s likely that his fans will still stand by him due to his incredible talent.

Please say a prayer for Wallen during this difficult time!
