Last week, we reported that the singer Kid Rock had shot up cases of Bud Light in a viral video as his response to the beer company teaming up with the transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney for a new campaign. Now, Rosie O’Donnell is firing back at Kid Rock by rushing to defend Mulvaney.

But first, check out Kid Rock’s viral video below. We must warn you that he uses profanity, as he can be seen saying, “F*** Bud Light, and f*** Anheuser-Busch.”

O’Donnell Defends Mulvaney

Mulvaney appeared on O’Donnell’s “Onward” podcast on Tuesday, and the lesbian television personality was quick to attack Kid Rock during the show.

“Kid Rock had to take an assault weapon and shoot the boxes of beer, proving what?” O’Donnell asked, according to Yahoo News. “Beer companies have been supportive of the LGBTQIA community for decades. This is not the first time.”

“Who do you think sponsors pride? Gay people, trans people, we drink beer too, man,” she added. “Put down your gun, Kid Rock, it’s in bad taste. Especially after what happened at the school in Nashville.”

Mulvaney Responds

“I have tried to be the most uncontroversial person this past year and somehow it has made me controversial still,” Mulvaney responded. “I think it comes back to the fact that these people, they don’t understand me and anything that I do or say then somehow gets taken out of context and is used against me.”

“It’s so sad because everything I try to put out is positive, it’s trying to connect with others that maybe don’t understand me, it’s to make people laugh or make a kid feel seen,” the influencer continued, later adding, “Even with all the hate and controversy just because I’m trans, it’s still worth it because I wake up every day a little bit happier than I was the day before.”

Mulvaney, 26, has a massive online following, boasting 1.8 million Instagram followers and 10.8 million TikTok followers. She’s spent the past year documenting her transition, and Bud Light even presented her with a beer can with her face on it to celebrate her “365 days of girlhood.”

Howard Stern Weighs In

O’Donnell isn’t the only media figure to go woke and target Kid Rock over his video. Earlier this week, the radio host Howard Stern also took Mulvaney’s side in this controversy.

“I wish I could call Kid Rock and have him come on the show and just tell me, ‘Why are you so upset about this? How is it hurtful?’ I don’t know why he got so upset,” Stern lamented. “Kid Rock, I know him. He’s got a great life. He transitioned from some kid in Michigan to a rock superstar! I’m really dumbfounded by why someone would care so much that they would blow up a can of Bud Light and say, ‘F*** Anheuser-Busch.’ I don’t get it.”

Stern went on to say that many of Kid Rock’s songs are about “doing my thing and f*** you if you’re not with me,” so he finds it to be both confusing and ironic that the singer would take issue with Mulvaney’s lifestyle choices.

O’Donnell and Stern have been members of the liberal elite for decades, so it comes as no surprise that they’ve lost touch with the reality of how many Americans feel about Bud Light’s latest campaign. They can be confused by this all they want to, but in the end, the average American stands with Kid Rock when it comes to Bud Light going woke by teaming up with someone like Mulvaney.
