Back in June, Matheus Scheffel scored a decision victory over Bruno Cappelozza.

Now, months later, Cappelozza gets his shot at revenge. The two heavyweights square off Friday night in the co-main event of PFL 2.

The event takes place in Las Vegas, airing live on ESPN2 and streaming on ESPN+.

After winning the 2021 heavyweight title with a victory over Ante Delija, Cappelozza looked primed to make a return to the tournament portion of the 2022 season.

However, his run was stopped short by Scheffel by decision. That loss snapped a five-fight win streak for Cappelozza, who is also a former Jungle Fight champion.

The heavyweight division will have a good measuring stick after the event, as three of the four main card bouts take place in the division. Two more are on the prelims for the night.

Along with Cappelozza vs. Scheffel, Denis Goltsov meets Yorgan De Castro and Renan Ferreira takes on Rizvan Kuniev. On the prelims it will be Marcelo Nunes vs. Maurice Greene and Patrick Brady vs. Michael Andryszak.
