The Hollywood star and radically liberal activist Jane Fonda is giving fans too much information about herself once again, this time saying that while she “appreciates” her body at the age of 86, she has no interest in having to “get naked” for a “new lover.”

‘It Would Be Hard For Me To Get Naked’

Fonda opened up about her views on her own body during an interview with Julia Louis-Dreyfus on her “Wiser than Me” podcast.

“I appreciate my body,” Fonda said. “I don’t criticize it and hate on it anymore, but I live alone. See, Julia, I don’t have to show [my body] to anybody. I’m vain enough so that it would be hard for me to get naked in front of [someone].”

Fonda went on to say that she would not feel that way if “I lived with somebody for 50 years — which I wish that had been my fate— but, you know, I wouldn’t be able to get undressed in front of a new lover.”

But alas, the woman who was nicknamed Hanoi Jane has been married and divorced three times, most recently to the CNN founder Ted Turner from 1991-2001.

Fonda’s ‘Fake’ Body Parts

“I’ve got too many nicks and, you know, scars and holes and all kinds of things,” Fonda continued. “I mean, I’ve got two fake hips, a fake knee and a fake shoulder, and even a fake thumb.”

Fonda proceeded to reveal that a bone in her thumb had been replaced with a “cadaver’s cartilage.”

In this same interview, Fonda revealed why she’s “sorry” that she ever got plastic surgery.

“I wish that I had been able to grow old at peace with my face, but I wasn’t able to, and I don’t feel good about it,” she admitted. “It’s not real. But I can’t do anything about it now.”

Fonda Closes Up Shop Sexually

Last summer, Fonda felt the need to announce to the world that she has “closed up shop” when it comes to having sex.

“I have ridden my sexuality along into my older age and very happily so, and I’m grateful for that,” she told Yahoo News. “It takes courage and a willingness. What’s important is to know that you don’t have to stay sexually active, [but] you can stay sexual.”

“We always have those vibrators that are getting more and more sophisticated every year. And, um, boy — do I get sent a lot of vibrators,” she added.

In another interview, Fonda said that while sex has gotten better with age, her sex life is now “solo.”

“You know, we waste way too much time not wanting to say, ‘Wait a minute, hold, hold it, hold it. No, no, no. Slow down. And a little to the left.’ You know, we don’t, we don’t wanna do that,” she said. “But when we get older, it’s like, ‘No, I know what I want. Give me what I want.'”

If there’s anything Fonda has shown over the decades that she’s been in the public eye, it’s that there is nothing more that she loves than talking about herself. While it could be argued that it’s nice that she’s sending women positive messages about aging, perhaps there are some things that Fonda should keep to herself.
