Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen shocked the world back in October of last year when they divorced after thirteen years of marriage and two children together. Now, sources close to Tom have said that the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is actively dating again.

Tom Is ‘Dating Around’

One source close to Tom, 45, told Page Six that the NFL legend “is dating around.”

“He’s shopping,” the insider said. “He is out and about.”

This comes after Gisele, 42, was rumored to be dating the billionaire Jeff Soffer, an old friend of Tom’s. However, the supermodel was quick to deny this in a recent interview with Vanity Fair.

“I have zero relationship with him in any way. He’s Tom’s friend, not my friend,” Gisele said, harshly adding, “I wouldn’t be with this guy. I mean, puh-leeze. They were saying I’m with this guy, he’s old, because he’s got money – it’s ridiculous.”

Sources have previously claimed that Tom did not want to split up from Gisele.

“This was not Tom’s idea,” an insider told People Magazine of the divorce right after news of it broke. “This was never Tom’s idea.”

The source went on to say that Tom “wanted to do whatever he needed to do to fix things” with Gisele because he “didn’t want the divorce and he didn’t want the marriage to end.”

Tom was “willing to go to therapy, marriage counseling — whatever it took to make things work,” according to the source, who added that the NFL star “didn’t want the kids to have divorced parents; he wanted to work this out.”

While Tom “was trying to make things work, and to make things right” during the period “near the end” of the marriage, Gisele felt that “it was a little bit too little, too late.”

Tom Retires From NFL

Tom announced last month that he would be retiring from the NFL for the second time, this time “for good” one year after he un-retired and decided to play another season with the Buccaneers.

“I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first,” Tom said in a video posted to social media. “So I won’t be long-winded. I think you only get one super-emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year.”

“So, really, thank you guys, so much, to every single one of you, for supporting men,” he added. “My family, my friends, teammates, my competitors, I could go on forever, there’s too many. Thank you, guys, for letting me live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you all.”

The Glazer family, which owns the Buccaneers, praised Tom after his retirement was announced.

“Tom’s impact on our franchise these past three years has been immense and we are appreciative of the time we had with him here in Tampa Bay,” they said. “He set an exceptional standard that elevated our entire organization to new heights and created some of the most iconic moments in our history.”

“Tom’s impact will be felt within our community for many years to come and we will forever be grateful for those unforgettable memories that he provided during these final seasons of his legendary career,” they continued. “We wish him the best in this next chapter of life and are confident he will find similar success in his future endeavors.”

This is clearly a time of great transition in Tom’s life, both personally and professionally. We’re glad to see that he’s gotten over his divorce enough to start dating again, and we wish him the best of luck in finding love again!
