Megyn Kelly is speaking out to praise Ke Huy Quan after he accepted his Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his work in Everything Everywhere All At Once on Sunday night with a patriotic pro-America speech.

Quan’s Patriotic Speech

Quan, who rose to fame playing Short Round in the 1984 classic Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom, gave an emotional acceptance speech on Sunday night as he said that he’s living the “American dream.”

“My journey started on a boat. I spent a year in a refugee camp, and somehow I ended up here on Hollywood’s biggest stage,” a visibly emotional Quan said. “They say stories like this only happen in the movies. I cannot believe this is happening to me. This, this is the American dream.”

“Dreams are something you have to believe in,” he continued. “I almost gave up on mine. To all of you out there, please keep your dreams alive.”

Kelly Praises Quan

In a time when Hollywood is seemingly more anti-American than ever, Kelly found Quan’s speech to be refreshing, telling her audience that “we need more of that.”

“He loves America and he’s not afraid to say it,” Kelly said. “A lot of immigrants who come to the country are the ones who love the country the most and are the biggest proselytizers of it. So it was wonderful to see him get up there and remind people of how awesome living in the United States and being in this country is for all of us.”

“Good for him, glad he won,” she continued.

Kelly went on to say that she didn’t actually watch the Oscars on Sunday night, choosing to watch clips the next day because she is “not into it” now that “they went woke.” However, another favorite moment that she came upon was when the Best Actress winner Michelle Yeoh appeared to stick it to CNN host Don Lemon with a comment made in her acceptance speech.

Yeoh’s ‘Middle Finger To Don Lemon’

“For all the little boys and girls who look like me watching tonight, this is a beacon of hope and possibilities,” Yeoh said, according to Yahoo News. “This is proof that … dream big, and dreams do come true. And, ladies, don’t let anybody tell you you are ever past your prime.”

This was seemingly a reference to Lemon recently saying that the Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is past her prime because she’s 51 years-old. Kelly got a big kick out of Yeoh using her speech to fire back at Lemon for his sexist remarks.

“Love that,” Kelly said. “She looks amazing. And it was a middle finger to Don Lemon. As I told you that was not a Left-Right issue. That was just a ‘Are you a moron or not?’ issue.”

It’s sad that we live in a time when Hollywood appears to have less respect for America than ever. The reality is that we are all lucky to live here in what can only be described as the best and freest country in the world. God bless Quan for using his speech to let the liberal elites of Hollywood know how great America really is!
