People often want to know how or why something happened the way it did, and now we can talk about who wrote that recent and amazing RAW promo. Plus, how much will Vince McMahon and others make money off of the eventual sale?

Who Wrote RAW Promo

If you caught this week’s show, you know where I am going with this…but who wrote that amazing RAW promo?

The awesome RAW promo in question? That would be the one where Cody and Paul Heyman went face to face.

As has become common following big matches or events, fans want to know who was pulling the strings behind the scenes.

This is exactly how folks have chased answers for what transpired between Rhodes and Heyman.

According to Fightful, only two men were involved on the writing of the process.

Those two men were Paul Heyman and Cody Rhodes.

Under prior leadership, such an interaction would have surely been blocked. Specifically, Vince McMahon had a notoriously bad habit of blowing up entire segments.

More to the point, McMahon would have likely not let either Cody Rhodes nor Paul Heyman write their own scripts.

This is not Vince McMahon’s WWE, however.

Cody wrote out what he was focused on. Heyman wrote his own lines.

Put them together and they gave us a superb promo on this past Monday Night RAW.

Taking that a step further…

Reaction to that promo has been strong.

Per the report, some noted that Rhodes is a star (no kidding), and Heyman, for his part, remains a star maker.

This strong promo was also meant to help boost the Reigns-Rhodes match at WrestleMania.

As much as we were looking forward to Rhodes and Reigns, WWE has to also watch it’s other big challenger-Sami Zayn.

How Much Will Vince Make

I know some are wondering…how much will Vince McMahon (and others) make from an eventual sale of WWE?

Let’s be honest-everyone has probably wondered what this might net Vince, if and when it happens.

So, TJWrestling shared a nice bit of numbers.

To be fair, this is based off of a few factors.

For one, an assumed sale price (for their math they used 8 billion dollars).

They also leaned on how many shares are flying around amongst the key individuals.

At first glance, the answer to how much Vince McMahon could personally pocket with a sale of WWE is staggering.

Keeping in mind that Vince is also the majority shareholder, it makes sense.

It was those shares that allowed McMahon back in recently.

And it is those shares that will likely allow him to profit handsomely from any future sale.

According to the report, McMahon could net a cool 2.5 billion in cash.

Vince is not the only winner of that lottery. His estranged wife Linda, would also score $50 million.

Interestingly, and this is possibly driven by who sold and didn’t sell stocks earlier, Stephanie McMahon would gain over 170 million dollars.

On the other side, Linda McMahon would score over 50 million, with even son-in-law Triple H set to bring home 8 million dollars from a sale.

Surely there are others on the list, and whenever the company is finally sold, numerous long-time staff will be better off for it.
