UFC Fight Night 218: Derrick Lewis-Sergey Spivak Collide
It will be heavyweights Derrick Lewis and Sergey Spivak squaring off this Saturday night at UFC Fight Night.
The UFC will counter Bellator with its own heavyweight fight, as Derrick Lewis meets Sergey Spivak Saturday night.
UFC Fight Night 218 takes place from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, airing live on ESPN+.
Along with Lewis-Spivak, Jung Da-un meets Devin Clark, Marcin Tybura squares off with Blagoy Ivanob and Choi Doo-ho battles Kyle Nelson.
Lewis, who fought Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title in August 2021, has gone 1-2 over his last three. He is coming off back-to-back finishes by Sergei Pavlovich and Tai Tuivasa.
Spivak, meanwhile, can really solidify his standing in the division with a win. He is 15-3 overall and on a two-fight win streak, having stopped both Augusto Sakai and Greg Hardy.
Overall, Spivak is 5-1 in his last six.
This event will also have some historical significance to it. Laura Sanko will become the first female to provide color commentary in modern UFC history.

The Road to UFC’s second season will also be completed, as four finals take place during the event.
