Pamela Anderson shocked everyone last month when she accused Tim Allen of flashing her on the set of their sitcom “Home Improvement” back in 1991. Now, rumors are swirling that Allen believes that he is being targeted because of his conservative beliefs.

Allen Allegedly Believes He’s Being Targeted

“Tim’s telling pals he’s being piled on because of his conservative beliefs,” an insider close to Allen told Radar Online. This source went on to say that Allen is afraid that his career in Hollywood may be over in the wake of Anderson’s allegations.

Allen, 69, has long been on thin ice in Hollywood as one of the only stars who is brave enough to speak out openly about his conservative beliefs. He reportedly things that it was his rightwing views that got his sitcom “Last Man Standing” cancelled by ABC back in 2017, only to be brought back by Fox for a few more seasons thanks to popular demand.

“That turn of event speaks to the fact Hollywood may hate him, but the rest of the country loves him,” another source said of Allen.

Anderson’s Claims Against Allen

This comes after Anderson accused Allen of flashing her on her first day of filming “Home Improvement” in her new memoir “Love, Pamela.”

“On the first day of filming, I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe,” she wrote.

“He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath,” Anderson continued. “He said it was only fair because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably.”

The whole world had seen Anderson naked two years before, when she posed for Playboy Magazine back in 1989. Allen immediately denied the claim that she made in her book, saying that it “never happened” and that he “would never do such a thing.”

Allen later doubled down on this in comments to reporters.

“She was a great co-worker, I’ll tell you that,” Allen told Daily Mail of Anderson. “She’s a fun girl. Everybody loved her, but everybody at ABC is a little disappointed in her… memory, put it that way. All of us at Disney/ABC, really.”

“She’s a good girl,” he added.

When asked if he has a good memory, Allen nodded and simply said, “yeah.”

Allen’s Conservative Views

Allen has long been one of the few stars in Hollywood who isn’t afraid to speak openly about being conservative.

“My political party is that I’ve never liked taxes, period, so whatever that means,” Allen once told Entertainment Weekly. “I don’t like paying people who never seem to do what I would do with my money. I always thought it would be funny if I had a little menu on my tax returns where I could tell them where my money would go.”

Allen has also admitted that he “liked” the former President Donald Trump, which is a cardinal sin in the liberal world of Hollywood.

“Once I realized that the last president pissed people off, I kind of liked that,” he said while appearing on Marc Maron’s “WTF” podcast back in 2021.“So it was fun to just not say anything — didn’t join in the lynching crowd.”

The cancel culture mob has been out to get Allen for years, so we can’t blame him for thinking that his conservative views have something to do with the latest claims that are being made against him. While Anderson has no proof that her story really happened, Allen also has no way to prove his innocence, which puts him in a difficult situation.

We can only hope that Allen’s Hollywood career is able to continue after this, because this is not the way things should end for him.
