Randy Orton Returning?, Backstage Reaction To Chelsea Green

After such a lengthy absence due to injury, is Randy Orton returning? Also, the backstage reaction to Chelsea Green coming back to WWE.

Randy Orton Returning?

Randy Orton will go down as one of the greatest WWE superstars ever. He sits at 15 world title reigns and has won almost everything WWE has to offer.

Since May of last year, Orton has been off TV because of a back injury. It is so serious, that there was debate if he would ever return inside a ring.

When the Royal Rumble came and went with no Orton, many thought it was a sign he would miss WrestleMania. As of now, there is no official word if Orton will be ready to go by WrestleMania 39 from California.

He underwent fusion back surgery in November, but a recent picture circulated on social media where he looks jacked.

Pro wrestling bootmaker Jose G Sanz posted on Instagram how Orton recently contact him. Sanz noted how Orton requested a pair of boots for his return.

Of course, this is not a confirmation that Orton is returning to WWE in the near future. Although, it is the first hint that Orton could be preparing to get back inside the ring.

Now, Sanzv might be kicking himself if he did spoil Orton’s big return.

Last time fans saw Orton, he was part of RKO-Bro with Matt Riddle. Together, they won tag team gold on RAW and were a major hit with fans.

In typical Orton fashion, the idea was he would turn on Riddle for major heat. But, his injury sidelined that angle.

Then, Middle was sent to rehab and is yet to return. Now, it seems like Orton against Riddle will not happen.

Perhaps, Orton returns by WrestleMania 39 or maybe they wait until after the big event.

Speaking of the Royal Rumble, Chelsea Green made her WWE return during the 30 person match. Yet, she might not want to remember what happened.

She lasted all of five seconds before being tossed over the tope rope. Now, that was likely done to setup her new gimmick.

She is portraying a Karen-like character on RAW. Basically, she finds a reason to complain about anything; even when there is no reason.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Green has been getting positive reviews from WWE since coming back. We will see if she can get into the title picture after WrestleMania season concludes.

Honestly, the current run is going better than the first. The first time, she worked one WWE TV match and was injured in the process.

She was released before ever returning.

While away, Green and her husband, Matt Cardona, become big stars outside of WWE. Before retuning to WWE, Green was a regular once again at Impact Wrestling.
