Abraham Bably picked up a future PFL contract as a winner on PFL Challenger Series Friday night.
Bably was among the winners, but he did the most to impress judges Kurt Angle, Frank Mir and Vitor Belfort.
The series airs live on Fubo Sports Network from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
Bably joins Amanda Leve and Thad Jean as contract winners through three episodes.
A Manchester native, Bably entered the PFL SmartCage against heavy-hitting American Hassan Graham and needed under four minutes to secure the finish and improve to 3-0.
In the main event, Danilo Marques bested Ras Hylton with a second round submission, while Vitor Resende won in the co-main event over Isaiah Pinson.
“The 2023 PFL Challenger Series resumed action tonight with eight fighters from the Heavyweight division vying for a PFL contract,” said Ray Sefo, President of Fighter Operations of PFL. “Congratulations Abraham Bably on an impressive performance and welcome to the PFL.”
Louie Sutherland was a winner in the opener.
