When it comes to the light heavyweight division in the UFC, things seem to be unknown at this point.

The division could see a contender rise up this Saturday night when Nikita Krylov battles Ryan Spann at UFC Fight Night.

All of the action takes place from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, streaming live on ESPN+.

The 30-year-old Krylov has reeled off back-to-back impressive wins. Last July, he knocked out former title contender Alexander Gustafsson in the first round in England.

Staying abroad, the native of Ukraine followed that up with a decision win at UFC 280 over Volkan Oezdemir, improving his overall record to 29-9. Krylov has won ten Octagon fights over two stints.

Spann, meanwhile, is coming off a first round knockout of Dominick Reyes. However, he missed weight for the bout, which took place at UFC 281.

Before that, he submitted Ion Cutelaba and sits at 21-7 overall with seven UFC victories to his credit.

Along with Krylov vs. Spann, an assortment of matches across various divisions are in the plans.
