Pamela Anderson has been a sex symbol for decades, but unlike most Hollywood stars, she isn’t afraid of aging.

Anderson Wants ‘Natural Gray’ Hair

While appearing on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast to promote her new memoir “Love,  Pamela,” which hit stores today, Anderson said that she won’t be doing any “crazy s**t” to try and look young.

“I never felt like I was any kind of great beauty, ever, no. Just a little funny-looking,” said the 55 year-old former “Baywatch” star.

“I can’t wait to see myself old,” Anderson added when asked directly about aging. “I always said I’d recognize myself when I was old in the mirror. I want to let my hair go kind of natural gray, put my little straw hat on, don’t wear makeup. I mean, that’s my comfortable kind of state.”

“A lot of women that kind of are these classic beauties have a really hard time with aging,” she continued. “I don’t think it’s as hard for me and I don’t want to chase that and I don’t want to do all the crazy sh–t to myself.”

‘Now I’m Old’

Anderson went on to say that she had to be reminded by her two sons that she shares with her ex-husband Tommy Lee when she embarked on the promotional tour for her memoir and its accompanying Netflix documentary “Pamela, A Love Story,” which also was released today.

“When I was wearing makeup before, everyone told me not to wear makeup. Now I’m old and kind of just want to let it happen,” she said.

Anderson’s Previous Aging Comments

Anderson made similar comments about aging and her looks when she was interviewed by Howard Stern earlier this month, according to Yahoo News

“I never felt like a great beauty. So, I felt like I don’t have as much to lose as others do,” she told Stern. “I just say, ‘I’ll be fine,’ which I think shows in the documentary. I mean, this is me, I’m almost 56 years old. I’m not going to worry about it. We all want to look the best we can look, but I’ve never really been a big worrier about that.”

In this interview, Anderson also admitted to gaining 25 pounds while writing her memoir.

“My body was changing,” she said. “I thought, oh, maybe I’m just getting old and this is it. I was walking around in kaftans, I looked ridiculous and my mom said ‘you never want to show your figure anymore.’ I just felt like, ‘What figure?’”

Anderson Hurls Accusation At Tim Allen

Anderson’s memoir previously made headlines when an excerpt was released in which she accused Tim Allen of flashing his penis at her during her first day of shooting on their sitcom “Home Improvement” back in 1991.

“I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe,” Anderson wrote. “He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath. He said it was only fair, because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably.”

Allen denied her allegations, telling Entertainment Weekly, “No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing.”

Whether you agree with some of the claims Anderson has made or not, it will be interesting to see if she stays true to her plan of not doing any “crazy s**t” to herself to try and look younger as she gets older. In a world full of fake-looking older people in Hollywood, it would be fascinating to see a natural elderly Pamela Anderson in the decades to come!
