With the Royal Rumble only days away, there is a huge rumor about Sami Zayn. Also, does Triple H see something special in Austin Theory?

After Roman Reigns left WrestleMania 38 with all the top gold, fans wondered what was next. Many believed he would hold both titles until the following WrestleMania.

And, that is exactly what happened. Now, the big question remains on who will challenge Reigns.

For the longest time, The Rock and Cody Rhodes were discussed. At this point, it will not be The Rock because of his busy Hollywood schedule.

Therefore, the most logically choice seems like Cody Rhodes. He already confirmed that he will be at 100% and an entrant in the match.

Yet, there is another superstar that has really shined in recent months. That is none other than Sami Zayn, who is part of The Bloodline as an Honorary Uce.

Lately, there seems to be trouble within The Bloodline. The few members keep changing their mind if they approve of Sami.

On RAW, it looked like the stable would turn on him. But, he was saved from The Usos, who in the past had problems with him.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the Men’s Royal Rumble. He believes Sami has a good chance of winning the Royal Rumble.

Basically, it seems like Rhodes or Sami will get the massive win.

“It’s either gonna be Cody or it’s gonna be Sami,” said Meltzer. “Or they’re gonna bring in an outsider.” 

As for the outsider, that could be a wide range of wrestlers. But, rumors started a few months ago of Steve Austin possibly wrestling.

Austin has posted videos online and he is in phenomenal shape. Rumors even state that WWE offered Austin against Reigns as the event’s major attraction.

Triple H On Austin Theory

Vince McMahon handpicked Austin Theory to be the future of the company. Then, Vince retired because of several hush-money settlements.

Of course, Vince is already back and apparently looking to sell the WWE. Still, Theory’s push has not changed.

Although, Theory was slightly repackaged. Instead of taking selfies, he has shown a more aggressive side.

And, it is working as he seems like a great United States Champion. His matches with Seth Rollins have really upped his status in the eyes of fans.

While speaking during an interview with ESPN, Triple H stated Theory has the tools to be a huge star.

“It’s a nuanced feeling,” said Triple H. “Once you see this guy’s a great athlete, I’m looking for their personality, their charisma.” 

“Austin Theory has it, and then some. Do I think he has all the potential to be one of the biggest stars in the business? Absolutely.” 

“What determines that? A lot of that is up to him now.” 

“You give him little bits of things here and there and he’s improving his game and he’s smart. He listens to the crowd, he listens to the people.” 

“He sees all the stuff that’s going on. And, he adapts his game on a regular basis.”

It is rumored Theory will battle John Cena at WrestleMania 39. If so, that is huge match for the young superstar.
