Due to a lack of TV time, Miro has barely appeared for AEW this year and he is speaking about it. Also, one person is content staying in NXT.

Miro Comments On Lack Of TV Time

AEW has seen better days, but they are trying to make the needed changes. Arguably, their most common complaint is how the roster is too big.

As a result, some wrestlers do not appear as much on TV. There are several wrestlers who this applies for, especially Miro.

Despite being part of the roster all year, he has only competed twice. And, all those matches took place between June and September.

While on MUSE TV NETWORK, Miro is simply waiting for the call.

“It’s not up to me,” said Miro. “I’m doing everything I can and from then on, I’m just sitting and waiting for the opportunity.”

Miro last appeared for AEW at All Out in early September. He won his last match as he teamed with Darby Allin and Sting against House of Black.

The win brought him to 3-1 for 2022, with the only loss coming at Forbidden Door.

Compared to last year, it is a big drop for Miro. In 2021, he won the TNT Championship with eight defenses scored.

Apollo Crews looks like a star, but his size is probably the reason he never became a star. On the main roster, it seems like WWE often forgot or passed on Crews.

So, he went back to NXT and is already being featured better. On Ryan Satin’s Out of Character podcast, Crews went over wanting to be part of NXT instead of RAW or SmackDown.

“It got to the point where it was just like ‘man, I don’t want to be coming here and doing Main Event anymore,” said Crews. “I want to be on the main shows.’”

“So I made an approach and asked if there was any spot down here. Essentially, for me at NXT and the opportunity came about and it happened.”

Apollo Crews was asked by WWE officials what kind of run he wanted to have. He was honest by saying he wanted to make the best of the opportunity currently in NXT before moving back to Raw or Smackdown in WWE.

“It was one of those things where it’s like, ‘Is it long term or it’s gonna be short term?’ and I was like ‘For me honestly, it doesn’t matter.’”

“I’m gonna control what I can control. You give me this opportunity. I’m gonna come out here and kill it.”

“In my head, I wanted to take full advantage of the opportunity that I was being presented with. Essentially, I was presented with the opportunity to kind of change the trajectory of my career and kind of really start over which not a lot of people get to do.”

Since coming back to NXT, the former Intercontinental Champion has been busy. He got better of Grayson Waller and recently unsuccessfully fought for Bron Breakker’s NXT Championship.
