Dean Cain Praises Kirstie Alley For Fighting Back Against Cancel Culture – ‘She’s With God Now’

The world is still in shock over the death of the former “Cheers” star Kirstie Alley, who died suddenly on Monday at the age of 71 after a short and private battle with colon cancer. Alley was known not only as a talented actress, but also for being a proud American patriot who was not afraid to speak out against cancel culture.

The day after Alley’s death, “Superman” himself Dean Cain paid tribute to Alley, who said last year that she had been “black-balled” by Hollywood for supporting Donald Trump.

Cain Pays Tribute To Alley

Cain described Alley to Fox News as “an icon, one of a kind, and a force of nature off and on the screen,” adding that she wasn’t scared of cancel culture.

“She was one of those brave folks who wasn’t afraid of cancel culture,” Cain said. “And in speaking her mind and as a result, you take those slings and arrows. But I think that history will vindicate her and her opinions and allow people to go, of course you should have your opinion and not run along with the masses.”

“Everybody feels the loss, and it’s just heartbreaking and so quick,” he continued. “But she’s with God now.”

This comes a year after Alley opened up to Fox News host Tucker Carlson about what it’s like to be a conservative in Hollywood these days.

“You can be cooking meth and sleeping with hookers but as long as, apparently, you didn’t vote for Trump,” she said. “I feel like I’m in the ‘Twilight Zone’ a bit with the whole concept of it.”

Wally Crowder Honors Alley

The actor Wally Crowder, who was a close friend of Alley’s, also paid tribute to her.

“She was kind and honest and giving,” he said. “You have no clue the lives she saved through drug rehab and donations through her charity.”

Crowder went on to talk about Alley’s cancer battle, saying that her first symptoms were problems with her back. This sadly ended up being colon cancer, and she had nine chemotherapy treatments before she tragically passed away, according to Crowder. He explained that the cancer took her life “really fast and really quick.”

Crowder struggled to hold back tears as he told a story of Alley stepping up to take the role of best man at his wedding.

“Kirstie stepped up to the plate and said, ‘I’ll be your best man,'” he recalled. “She was gorgeous. You put her in a tuxedo, she just looked like a million bucks. And as sad as today is, she’s in glory with the Lord.”

Alley’s Children Announce Her Death

The world was stunned when Alley’s death was announced by her two children on Monday night. They released a statement praise their mother, saying that her “zest and passion for life, her children, grandchildren and her many animals, not to mention her eternal joy of creating, were unparalleled and leave us inspired to live life to the fullest just as she did.”

Alley was one of the few people in Hollywood who was not afraid to publicly express her conservative views. She was truly one-of-a kind, and there will never be another like her.

Rest in peace, Kirstie Alley.

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
