Becky Lynch returned to in-ring action for the 2022 Survivor Series event, scoring a win for her team in their WarGames match. While it seems like her shoulder has recovered, The Man recently provided an update that things are still “not right” with it all. More on this story, below.

Becky Lynch Shoulder Update

Big Time Becks suffered a separated shoulder at SummerSlam this past July. Unfortunately, she missed some months in the WWE recovering from her injury.

During an interview with Verge, The Man provided an update on her shoulder. She states that it still isn’t feeling “right”. She goes on to say she was “nervous” about her return.

However, she adds that once she got in front of the crowd and felt that energy, she forgot “anything else”. She notes, there’s no other feeling like it.

Lynch states during the Verge interview that it felt amazing to be in front of fans again at Survivor Series. She says that it was “electric”, especially in the capacity of the WarGames bout.

Becks notes that she’s never done a match like that before, and it was very daunting. From the outcome of it all, it seems like she nailed it.

The match was the first-ever WWE main roster women’s WarGame bout. All the ladies involved did an incredible job.

Team “babyface” did win in the end when Lynch, Mia Yim, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and Bianca Belair defeated Bayley, Dakota Kai, lo SKY, Nikki Cross, and Rhea Ripley. Plus, it was The Man who pinned Kai to get her team the victory.

Speaking of the face Survivor Series women’s team, one of the members may be in for a gimmick change. More on this story, below.

Asuka Changing Gimmick?

Asuka certainly held her own during WarGames. But as of late, the WWE superstar has been leaving fans raising an eyebrow or two around her current gimmick.

She’s posted a series of tweets on social media teasing that she may go back to her old persona. For those that recall, during her indie circuit days in Japan, she went as Kana, the “murder clown”.

As readers can see in the Twitter posts sprinkled within this article, the initial post was a response to a tweet from WWE’s Twitter handle. This was sent a little after Asuka lost her RAW triple-threat match against Rhea Ripley and Bayley.

After the fact, she went on a tweeting spree! All with photos, of course.

She would then start posting pictures on Twitter of her run as Kana. She also had worrisome messages attached to the tweets.

Asuka further stirred the social media pot with a video clip the next day, while wearing the Kana face paint. Could this mean what some believe it may mean?

Maybe Asuka Could Use A Gimmick Change?

Asuka hasn’t had the greatest run as of late. Sure, her team won their Survivor Series match, but she has suffered many a loss at both live house shows and TV.

Perhaps a persona change is what is needed to breathe some life back into the Asuka character. However, will this change mean she turns heel, too?
