With the latest backstage talk, is Jamie Hayter liked or disliked by talent? Also, an AEW couple became engaged on Christmas Eve.

Backstage Talk On Jamie Hayter

In October 2019, Jamie Hayter made her debut for AEW. She lost to Britt Baker and was later attacked backstage by Brandi Rhodes.

It seemed like AEW had big plans for the English wrestler. Then, the pandemic arrived and Hayter was unable to make the trip to the United States.

Fast forward to August 2021 and Hayter would return. This time, she quickly was paired with Baker and Rebel, thus becoming a heel.

In November, all the handwork meant a title run. At Full Gear, Hayter defeated Toni Storm to win the AEW Women’s Championship.

In a report from Fightful Select, Sean Ross went over Hayter’s backstage attitude. Basically, Ross has heard nothing but a “unanimous positive reception backstage.”

She was also praised for her recent title defense against former champion, Hikaru Shida.

Unlike some talent, Hayter got over organically. Therefore, her title win was that much more special.

As for Baker and Rebel, they are getting a similar reaction. AEW is happy with how both have helped move into a role of backup for Hayter.

Before Hayter won gold, the title was causing some problems.

Thunder Rosa was expected to drop the belt at All Out. Although, she injured her back and AEW decided to create an interim title instead of stripping Rosa.

The hope was Rosa wood return quickly, but that has not happened. Although, she is now rumored for a February return.

While out, Toni Storm became the interim champion and then the same title was won by Hayter. Finally, Tony Khan could not wait any longer.

After lots of pressure, he had Rose vacate the title. Now, we have a undisputed  Women’s Champion and not the interim title.

At least the belt is getting the respect it deserves.

Christmas time is special for many as people get into the holiday spirit. People are so happy, many are known to propose to their partner.

And, that is exactly what happened with two people who work for AEW. Big Bill (formerly Big Cass in WWE and W. Morrisey in Impact Wrestling) and Lexy Nair are now engaged.

Nair posted an image confirming the news on Twitter.

Big Bill was a rising star in WWE, but drinking caused him to be released. He struggled for a few yers, but seems to have controlled his addiction.

He joined AEW earlier this year and despite only a few matches, he looks to be a huge star.

Nair is none other than DDP’s daughter. She is a backstage correspondent for AEW and host of their Outside The Ring series.

From everyone at Wrestle Newz, congratulations to the newly engaged couple.
