It’s time for our last RAW in a Nutshell for November, and as we wrap things up, we have one question : who has survived WarGames?
Now, that’s a valid question, hot on the heels of this year’s Survivor Series: WarGames.
In the women’s WarGames match, we know that the babyface squad survived and won, but who will be walking easily on Monday?
For the men, The Bloodline continued their dominance, but in that battle…everyone is probably a bit sore.
So, over the course of this week’s RAW, we will indeed see who has survived WarGames.
Or, who has not survived, for that matter.
And with no premium live events again until January, we might not need to see new angles set up just yet.
Regardless, the night after a major show can be exciting, and we never know who might show up.
So…it’s time to find out. Which means it is time for…
Let’s crack open this Nutshell and find out!
Hands down, Kevin Owens and Main Event Jey Uso.
It was the main event, and it was easy to see why.
Owens is showing why he’s the prize fighter, and Jey is just as good.
KO might be done with Sami…but it seems a safe bet that the rest of the Bloodline isn’t done with Owens.
Not a bad match, but how it was delivered? Sucked.
That would be…Candice and Dakota, in Candice’s return to RAW.
Kevin Owens. Jey Uso.
Need I say more?
OK…so it was “only” a bodyslam.
But…it was who did it, and to whom they delivered it to.
Welcome back Montez Ford.
Hardly a jobber in the traditional sense, but we saw Dakota Kai take the loss to the returning Candice Lerae. Thats what I have.
Nothing comes to mind.
Lumis won (no shock) but when handed the bag of cash…he was giving it to kids at ringside.
And, unless they had prop money…those were some legit hundred dollar bills.
As great as Becky’s interaction with certain fans was tonight-and it was…
The fan responses on Twitter were even better.
Remember the rumors (we reported on) that Sami Zayn, Montreal native, might get a shot at Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber?
It all makes sense now. Whether it’s him or Kevin Owens…Elimination Chamber, February 18…Montreal.
Also, looks like after a few hiccups, we’ve got the whole Michin/Mia Yim thing sorted out. She’s going to use both, with Michin apparently just Korean for crazy.
I suppose we’ve seen worse pivots.
And…how cute is baby Gargano?!
Another week…another fiendish Alexa tease.
Candice Lerae returned to RAW tonight…and way too much of the match happened in the picture-in-picture format.
Like…most of it, I think. If that is the result of the commercial free first hour?
Hard pass.
In general, The Bloodline. Like, it’s insane how this whole story has developed and grown and become one of the best stories WWE has delivered in…forever.
Adding Sami Zayn has given them new life, too. No longer do we need Heyman every show, which you might have noticed.
And while we’ve heard that Zayn and Owens will eventually get back together…with how things are going…you might not mind waiting a while for that to happen.
Long term story telling is back and doing well.
A strong show after Survivor Series, though somewhat uneventful, too.
Dexter officially has his RAW contract, to the surprise of no one.
Rollins and Theory are lining up for another round.
Damage Control and the face Superstars are not done either.
And, we got the 8 Superstar mixed tag that honestly should have been a part of WarGames, except Mia Yim was actually, you know…in that match.
Honestly, not sure I would expect a ton of surprises from here until January. Maybe surprise outcomes, but with the Rumble the next big match…
I have a hunch that Hunter will be holding onto some surprises for his first shot at booking a Rumble.
