Jake Paul stunned the WWE Universe when he appeared at Crown Jewel to help out his brother, Logan. He’s also mentioned recently how he’d like to have Paul Heyman as a manager. How did the Special Counsel for the Tribal Chief, react?
Jake recently conducted an interview with Sports Illustrated. During the chat, he talks about working with the WWE, but more specifically, being managed by Paul Heyman.
Jake notes that Heyman is quite “smart” and “entertaining”. He also notes that while he loves a lot of WWE characters, Heyman’s on “another level”.
Jake states that he’d love Heyman “in his corner”. The duo could be known as “Paul and Paul”.
Paul Heyman jumped on Twitter recently to address the idea. His tweet is above.
Sounds like Heyman isn’t completely against the idea. But could he really leave the Bloodline?
Things got very interesting during Crown Jewel’s main event this past weekend. While it was Logan Paul versus Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Logan’s brother Jake got involved.
In fact, there was a bit of a tease that the WWE could see a possible match between Solo and Jake. It’s hard to say if that’ll come to be.
Still, everyone’s buzzing about the Paul brothers at Crown Jewel. Especially Logan’s incredible performance against Roman Reigns.
Over to AEW news, Jeff Jarrett left the WWE in August this year, only to debut in AEW very recently. Despite moving on so quickly, could he still be a tad bitter about how he left his old role?
Jarrett held both an onscreen and offscreen role with the WWE. He is seemingly doing the same at AEW, appearing on TV, and has an executive position with the company.
When HHH took over creative after Vince McMahon retired, he replaced Jeff with Road Dogg. Makes it no surprise that on this week’s AEW Dynamite, Jarrett took the opportunity to dig at Trips.
Jarrett and Jay Lethal did a promo segment on Dynamite, with Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh. Jeff cut a heel promo against Sting and Darby Allin.
He put Singh over by huge by listing his accomplishments. He did the same with Satnam, but not before throwing shade against Triple H, Braun Strowman, and the WWE.
Jeff stated that Satnam was a “real giant”. Not a “make-believe monster” in red skinny jeans made by the “banana-nose” factory.
HHH is known for that nose. Plus, fans know all too well that Strowman is a fan of skinny jeans.
Jarrett proceeded to bully the production guy after he told him to stop. Jeff’s always been a master on the mic, and this last promo has people talking.
It’s not uncommon for pro wrestling characters to make digs about their prior wrestling companies. Especially when the details around their departure are well-known by the fans.
It always makes things more interesting when promos get personal. Will Braun or HHH hit a comeback during WWE TV?
Likely not. But only time will tell.
