Yesterday, we reported that former “Home Improvement” star Tim Allen was being attacked after trolling the left  by asking “who is the face of woke?” Now, former “Superman” star Dean Cain is speaking out to defend Allen from backlash over his conservative views.

Liberals lost their minds after Allen posted this tweet on Monday evening:

Dean Cain Defends Tim Allen

“[The ‘woke mob’s’ message] is shut your mouth, stay in line, or you’ll be canceled,” Cain told Fox News. “The weird, ironic thing to me is that those who are screaming about inclusivity and acceptance, they want dissenting voices silenced. They do not want free speech, and that’s the definition of fascism.”

Cain went on to say that despite the left’s efforts, Allen is “uncancellable.”

“[He’s] incredibly funny, he’s incredibly accomplished, he’s uncancellable and that makes people on Twitter and elsewhere go bananas,” he added. “He’s achieved huge fame and can say what he wants to.”

Not stopping there, Cain slammed cancel culture, saying that the “woke” movement has made comedy difficult to navigate for an outspoken conservative like Allen.

“Everyone’s looking to be offended by everything. It’s complete victim culture. That’s your new red badge of courage,” he said. “Comedy is supposed to make fun of those in power. That’s the whole idea.”

Cain Blasts Cancel Culture

Cain and Allen are two openly conservative stars in Hollywood. And, the former “Superman” actor has sounded off against cancel culture many times in the past.

“This cancel culture within Hollywood, it is a cancer,” he said in 2020.

“It’s McCarthyism, and it’s threatening people [by saying], ‘Look, I’m going to take away your ability to make a living, your livelihood, if you don’t toe the party line,'” he added. “And it’s not going to end well, I promise you.”

Allen has also spoken out against cancel culture many times.

“I literally don’t preach anything,” he said last year, according to The Huffington Post. “What I’ve done is just not joined into, as I call it, the ‘we culture.’ I’m not telling anybody else how to live. I don’t like that, ‘we should do this’ or, ‘we should do that.’”

“Once I realized that the last president pissed people off, I kind of liked that,” he added, referring to Donald Trump, whose 2017 inauguration he attended. “So it was fun to just not say anything. Didn’t join in the lynching crowd.”

Allen then defended voting for Trump in 2016, saying that while he’s been friendly with Bill and Hillary Clinton in the past, he simply didn’t think she had what it takes to be president.

“In the end, you go the other direction,” he explained. “There’s nothing personal about it. If you don’t like it then wait ’til the next election.”

Allen has previously compared the experience of being a conservative in Hollywood to living in Nazi Germany in the 1930s. Cain would undoubtedly agree with this assessment.

The liberals who run Hollywood would love to see Allen and Cain shut up and go away, which is why it’s crucial that they do the exact opposite, and continue to unapologetically sound off about their conservative views.
