PFL Going Big Time With Season Finale Headed To PPV

The PFL is entering into the world of pay-per-view. And it is with the perfect lineup and at the perfect time.

PFL Championship 2022 will take place November 25 from the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

After being on ESPN and ESPN Networks throughout the year, it will head to ESPN+ pay-per-view for the finale, as six champions are crowned.

The card features Kayla Harrison chasing another world title and $1 million check when she meets Larissa Pacheco. Pacheco has pushed the Olympic gold medalist in their previous meetings, and would like nothing more than to hand her the first loss of her career.

But that is far from all they will be presenting.

In the co-main event, Brendan Loughnane and Bubba Jenkins square off for the featherweight title. Ante Delija and Matheus Scheffel meet for in the heavyweight division, Olivier Aubin-Mercier and Stevie Ray at lightweight, Sadibou Sy and Dilano Taylor at welterweight and Robert Wilkinson and Omari Akhmedov at light heavyweight.

All of those fights will provide the winner with the world title in their respective weight division and a check for $1 million.

The PFL calls is the richest night in MMA, and they are correct.

But again, that is not all.

Shane Burgos, one of the top free agents in 2022, will make his PFL debut against another newcomer in Marlon Moraes. Moraes actually used to call the World Series of Fighting home and was a strong force there.

Natan Schulte and Jeremy Stephens, along with the debut of Biaggio Ali Walsh as an amateur are set for the prelims on ESPN+. The name Ali carries weight with it, as he is the grandson of Muhammad Ali.

All in all, this is shaping up to be quite the night for combat sports under the bright lights of New York City.
