Le’Veon Bell finished Adrian Peterson Saturday night inside the boxing ring.

The former NFL standout running backs squared off against one another in a new arena.

And Bell was declared the winner after flooring Peterson with a hard shot in the fifth and final round.

The two met in the co-main event role of the Austin McBroom vs. AnEsonGib card. The event took place from the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.

Bell, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, played for several years with the Pittsburgh Steelers before trying to resurrect his career with the New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Peterson was the NFL MVP in 2012 and holds the NFL record for being a three-time rushing yardage leader. He also set the NFL record for most rushing yards as a rookie in a single game with 296.
