Last week, we reported that country music star John Rich had a #1 hit within hours of releasing the anti-woke song “Progress.” Now, Rich is sounding off about what he feels is the “problem” with liberal America today.

Backstory: Country Music Star John Rich Sticks It To Liberals With New Anti-Woke Song – Hits #1 In Hours

‘The Problem In Our Country Right Now…’

“The problem in our country right now is that feeling [of freedom] is not being felt by many people right now, and we miss it,” Rich said, according to The Daily Caller. “My version of progress is not fancy. It’s not expensive. My version of progress is ‘leave me the Hell alone, let me go work hard and fail if I want to and come back, and pursue happiness.'”

“Their version of progress is ‘clamp down on everybody, destroy everything, and put you in such a position that you have to reach up for our help,'” he added. “That’s what I think they’re doing to us right now.”

Rich went on to say that he chose to release “Progress” on Rumble and Truth Social because he did not want to be hypocritical by using the platforms he ranted against in the song to get people to listen to it. Check out Rich’s full comments on this in this video

Rich Sticks It To Liberals

With his song “Progress,” Rich stuck it to liberals in a big way.

“They say building back better will make America great,” Rich sings towards the start of the song. “If that’s the wave of the future, all I’ve got to say is…”

Then, the chorus of “progress” goes, “Stick your progress where the sun don’t shine. Keep your big mess away from me and mine. If you leave us alone, well, we’d all be just fine.”

Rich Calls Out Biden

While promoting “Progress” on Fox News, Rich lashed out at President Joe Biden about what he sees as his many failures.

“What he’s done has stepped so far outside the bounds of political differences that now it’s hitting everybody on daily things that they deal with,” Rich said of Biden. “Gas prices don’t care if you’re a Democrat or Republican. When you go and buy a dozen eggs and you’re like, ‘how much are these eggs?’ And then you’re going to Costco and going, ‘You know what? I’m going to buy the big bulk stuff.’ That affects everybody, too.”

“So, listen, he said he was going to bring unity,” he continued. “I saw the poll earlier this month that said, was it 88% of Americans said that we’re on the wrong track in this country. That’s quite a feat to get 88% of Americans to agree on anything. But Joe did it. Good job, Joe. He did bring unity, and now we’re unified that we don’t like what’s going on.”

It should be noted that most Americans would agree with Rich’s assessment of Biden, as his approval ratings are currently lower than ever, according to Newsweek. That’s why the success of “Progress” should not come as a surprise, as many listeners find it refreshing to have an anti-woke song out there when the music industry is dominated by leftists, as is the rest of the entertainment industry.

We applaud Rich for making this song, and we hope he releases more anti-liberal songs in the future!
