The industry is still reeling from Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out in the middle of the May 16th edition of Monday Night RAW. While Banks is booked for Chicago’s C2E2 convention, a new report clarifies her wrestling future.

Sasha Banks Wrestling Future Update

According to Sean Sapp of Fightful, Sasha Banks is not accepting any wrestling-related booking events until January 2023. She’ll be doing autographs and photo ops at the C2E2 convention from August 6th to the 7th.

As per the report, convention organizers state they were quoted a specific and firm rate for her appearance by her reps. Wrestling-related promoters that tried to book her were told she was only accepting non-wrestling-related events until January 1st of next year.

With all that said, the WWE has yet to “confirm” that Banks has been released from the company, publicly. In the report, one promoter states they can’t see her “not being released” at this point.

Sasha Banks Wrestling Future – Next Chapter Starts In 2023

It’s hard to say exactly what lies ahead for Sasha Banks. Her situation with the WWE seems very “sticky” right now, and if she is released, she’s likely under a non-compete clause until 2023.

It’s been reported that both Naomi and Sasha have been removed from WWE’s internal roster, as well. Where they’ll end up, and when they’ll wrestle in that squared circle, still remains unknown.

While the Tribal Chief is currently the “Big Dog” in WWE, it looks as if he may not be a part of Extreme Rules in October. More on this story, below.

Roman Reigns & Extreme Rules

WWE Extreme Rules will take place on Saturday, October 8th at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The company recently released some promotional material for the pay-per-view (PPV) event, and someone very noticeable was missing.

As you can see from the above photo, the promo poster features Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, Drew McIntyre, Riddle, and Bobby Lashley. But the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, is missing.

While he isn’t advertised for Extreme Rules, this could always change by the time the event rolls around. With that said, it doesn’t seem like Roman will be there at this point in time.

Roman Reigns Does Have WWE Appearances This Summer

Reigns is already booked for the 2022 SummerSlam event, one of WWE’s biggest PPVs of the year. He’s set to face Brock Lesnar for the championship, in a Last Man Standing match on Saturday, July 30th, taking place in Nashville, Tennessee at the Nissan Stadium.

Roman also has a number of appearances for most of the summer. He’s set for Friday Night SmackDown on July 22nd in Boston, as well as the following Monday Night RAW at MSG on July 25th.

Both of these shows “lead up” to SummerSlam. He’ll likely work hard to promote the event in one way or another.

In addition, the Tribal Chief is also set to appear at a live event in Ottawa, Ontario Canada on August 20th. He’s also going to appear on a couple of SmackDown shows next month, too.
