Earlier this week, we reported that the YouTube star JoJo Siwa had branded the former “Full House” star Candace Cameron Bure as the “rudest celebrity” that she’s ever met. Though Cameron Bure has since apologized, her daughter Natasha is now lashing out at Siwa, implying that she feels that the singer and dancer is spineless.

‘Grow Up’

Daily Mail reported that in an Instagram post that has since been deleted, Natasha, 23, told Siwa, 19, to “grow up” and get over what she saw as Cameron Bure slighting her when she was 11 years-old at the 2016 premiere of “Fuller House.”

“Respectfully, someone saying no to taking a photo with you is not a ‘rough experience,”’ Natasha wrote. “This generation is so sensitive and has zero backbone. Grow up. There are bigger issues in the world than this.”

Check out the TikTok that started all of this below.

Siwa Doubles Down

This came after Siwa doubled down on saying that Cameron Bure, 46, was the “rudest celebrity” that she’d ever met.

“You know, I had a rough experience when I was little,” Siwa told Page Six. “‘I was 11, and I was a big, big fan, and I wanted to take a picture with her, and it wasn’t a good time for her.”

Cameron Bure reportedly told Siwa “not right now” and never came back to take a photo despite taking pictures with others.

“I will say because I had a bad experience, that doesn’t mean that she is an awful human,” Siwa said. “I think it just was an inconvenient time for her, and little 11-year-old me was just so pumped up and so excited, but that doesn’t mean she’s the worst human ever. It just, you know, it was a rough experience for me.”

Cameron Bure’s Apology

Cameron Bure revealed on Instagram that she called Siwa personally to apologize after hearing that she’d called her the “rudest celebrity,” adding that they “had a great conversation.”

“I didn’t think it was going to go viral,” she said Siwa told her. “It was just a silly TikTok trend and I didn’t think it was a big deal.”

After apologizing to Siwa, Cameron Bure told her, “I broke your 11-year-old heart. Please know that as a mom that it breaks my heart that I made you feel that way.”

Cameron Bure concluded by saying that we can all learn a lesson from this.

“I think the lesson we can learn is to be mindful,” she said. “That no matter how may followers you have, even a ten second trending TikTok video can do damage, because our words matter and our actions matter.”

Cameron Bure And Siwa’s History

Both she and Siwa have competed on seasons of “Dancing With The Stars,” with Cameron Bure coming in 3rd place on season 18 back in 2014, and Siwa coming in second on the last season back in the fall. They have also appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” in 2019, at which time Cameron Bure gave Siwa a Christmas present.

We wouldn’t be surprised if Cameron Bure was the one who had her daughter delete her Instagram post since she clearly wanted to take the high road and had already talked things out with Siwa.

Cameron Bure is known for being one of the few openly conservative Christian actresses in Hollywood, which is why it came as a shock to many of her fans to see her branded as rude. While we applaud her daughter for standing up for her mom, we greatly admire the way Candance Cameron Bure has handled this situation. She is the perfect example of someone who lives their faith.

She works to set a great example for her kids and everyone else. Hopefully, this scandal will now be in her rearview mirror moving forward!
