As one of the few openly conservative Christian celebrities out there, Candace Cameron Bure has long been seen as one of the nicest women in Hollywood. That’s why it came as a shock on Sunday when the singer, dancer, and YouTuber JoJo Siwa said in a viral TikTok video that Cameron Bure is the “rudest celebrity” that she’s ever met.
Now, Cameron Bure has responded to this accusation in the best way possible.
Page Six reported that it all started on Sunday, when Siwa, 19, posted a clip in which she quickly flashed photos of celebrities as she categorized them as the “rudest,” “nicest” and her “crush.” When it was time for her to reveal the “rudest celebrity I’ve met,” Siwa turned her phone to reveal a photo of Cameron Bure, 46, acting on her Netflix show “Fuller House.”
“Pool day = exposed hahahha,” Siwa wrote in the caption of the video, which has been viewed over 14 million times in just two days.
When it came to the other categories, Siwa listed “Euphoria” star Zendaya as her celebrity crush and the former “Hannah Montana” actress and singer Miley Cyrus as the “nicest” celebrity she has met. The singer Elton John was the “coolest” celebrity Siwa has met, and SpongeBob SquarePants was the celebrity she said did her “dirty.”

US Magazine reported that the always classy Cameron Bure took the high road the next day when she took to her Instagram story to post a biblical verse in response.
“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock,” she wrote, quoting Isaiah 26:4 from the Bible.
While it isn’t clear where the two women met, it’s known that Siwa attended the premiere of “Fuller House” back in 2016. They both also competed in “Dancing With The Stars, though they were on different seasons. Cameron Bure came in 3rd on season 18 of the ABC reality series back in 2014, while Siwa came in second on season 30 in the fall of last year.
Fans have also found that Cameron Bure and Siwa appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” together in 2019. During this appearance, Cameron Bure was kind enough to give Siwa a present in an attempt to bring “Christmas cheer.”
“I heard that you like a lot of sweet things, so these are all cookie cutters and a little recipe card so you can have somebody make them for you on tour,” Cameron Bure told Siwa on the show.

As one of the few openly conservative Christian actresses in Hollywood, Cameron Bure has been dealing with hate from leftists for years. Fans have speculated that Cameron Bure’s political views could be why Siwa has a problem with her.
“JoJo Siwa is queer, Candace Cameron Bure is deeply conservative. Not hard to believe,” one person tweeted.
However, others defended Cameron Bure, with one fan tweeting, “I can’t stand JoJo. Sure, you danced for Abby Miller and defended her even tho she was downright abusive to everyone, but Candace Cameron who has been called many things but never rude, was the rudest celebrity you ever met. Sure……”
Cameron Bure has yet to directly address Siwa’s claims, and given how classy she is, it’s unlikely that she ever will.
